Un incontro per la salute e il benessere della comunità
Il 12 settembre a Sansepolcro la Asl Toscana sud est presenta i corsi AFA insieme a istituzioni, associazioni e realtà locali

Venerdì 12 settembre a Sansepolcro si terrà un incontro dedicato alla promozione dei corsi di Attività Fisica Adattata (AFA), organizzati dalla Asl Toscana sud est in collaborazione con il Comune di Sansepolcro, l’Unione Montana, il Comitato di partecipazione, associazioni e realtà del territorio. L’appuntamento è fissato alle 14.30 presso il Centro di Aggregazione Sociale “Bellavista”, in via Città Gemellate (sopra il supermercato).

L’iniziativa, aperta a tutta la popolazione, nasce con l’obiettivo di illustrare le finalità e i benefici dei corsi AFA, percorsi di esercizio fisico non sanitario, svolti in gruppo e rivolti a persone con sindromi dolorose croniche (come artrosi e osteoporosi), esiti stabilizzati di patologie neuromotorie (ictus, Parkinson, ecc.) e in generale a soggetti anziani a rischio cadute.“L’Attività Fisica Adattata rappresenta uno strumento fondamentale per promuovere salute e benessere nella nostra comunità – sottolinea Giampiero Luatti, direttore di zona distretto della Valtiberina –. Grazie ai corsi AFA riusciamo a offrire alle cittadine e ai cittadini, in particolare a chi convive con patologie croniche o con limitazioni motorie, un’opportunità concreta di migliorare la qualità della vita attraverso il movimento, la socializzazione e la prevenzione”.Dopo i saluti istituzionali, sono previsti gli interventi dei referenti della Asl Toscana sud est e dei partner territoriali. Verranno presentati i dati relativi ai corsi AFA già attivi in Valtiberina e le prospettive di sviluppo futuro, con un focus sull’importanza della prevenzione e sui corretti stili di vita. Al termine dell’incontro si terrà una dimostrazione pratica degli esercizi proposti durante i corsi AFA.

Hanno aderito all’organizzazione dell’evento, oltre al Comune di Sansepolcro, all’Unione Montana dei Comuni della Valtiberina Toscana, al Centro Aggregazione Sociale Bellavista che mette a disposizione i locali, anche Unicoop, l’Associazione WalkTiberina, i providers dei corsi AFA, i medici di medicina generale (MMG), il Dipartimento delle Professioni Tecniche.
