La lista civica chiede alle istituzioni locali di attivarsi: in Consiglio comunale sarà presentata un’interrogazione Da organi di stampa apprendiamo che, nell’ambito di una politica di razionalizzazione portata avanti dal Ministero dello Sport e della Salute, è prevista la chiusura anche della sede del Coni di Arezzo.
Una decisione che preoccupa fortemente, soprattutto alla luce dei dati diffusi in questi giorni dal quotidiano Il Sole 24 Ore: l’indice di sportività segnala infatti come la provincia di Arezzo sia in difficoltà rispetto alla diffusione dello sport, mentre al contrario gli indicatori evidenziano quanto il settore avrebbe bisogno di essere sostenuto e rilanciato. In questo contesto, la chiusura della sede Coni non può che rappresentare un grande svantaggio per la città e per l’intera comunità sportiva. Per queste ragioni, Scelgo Arezzo chiede all’amministrazione comunale e alle altre istituzioni del territorio di attivarsi con decisione per scongiurare questa prospettiva. La lista civica annuncia che presenterà un’interrogazione nel prossimo Consiglio comunale per affrontare il tema e chiedere un impegno concreto a difesa della sede del comitato olimpico e, in ultima istanza, un impegno ad ospitare la sede all’interno di spazi ad oggi nelle disponibilità delle istituzioni locali.
