Esordisce il terzo ensemble musicale di Valdichiana2025 Capitale Toscana della Cultura. La Corale Valdichiana si esibirà venerdì 24 ottobre a Chiusi e domenica 26 ottobre a Sinalunga. Prosegue il percorso musicale di Valdichiana2025 con il debutto della Corale Valdichiana, la terza ensemble nata nell’ambito del progetto “Musica Insieme”, promosso dall’Unione dei Comuni della Valdichiana Senese, Capitale Toscana della Cultura per l’anno in corso.
Dopo l’Orchestra e la Banda Valdichiana, anche le numerose realtà corali del territorio si uniscono in un’unica formazione condivisa, con l’obiettivo di costruire un organico stabile capace di rappresentare la vitalità musicale e la ricchezza culturale dei dieci Comuni dell’area. La nascita della Corale Valdichiana rappresenta un nuovo passo nel percorso di crescita artistica e di collaborazione tra le diverse esperienze musicali presenti sul territorio. L’ensemble, che riunisce cori e cantori già attivi nella Valdichiana Senese, debutterà con un doppio concerto sinfonico-corale dedicato all’anno giubilare, realizzato in collaborazione con la Diocesi di Montepulciano – Chiusi – Pienza. Sotto la direzione di Luca Morgantini, la Corale si esibirà con l’Orchestra della Miniera, formazione che richiama il legame con il territorio del Monte Amiata, e con solista Chiara Franceschelli (soprano), e proporrà la “Missa Katharina”, del compositore olandese Jacob de Haan, opera del 2007 che coniuga intensità emotiva e profondità spirituale. Il primo concerto è in programma venerdì 24 ottobre alle ore 21:00 nella Cattedrale di San Secondiano a Chiusi, mentre il secondo appuntamento sarà domenica 26 ottobre alle ore 18:00 nella Chiesa della Collegiata di San Martino a Sinalunga. Due momenti che suggellano la nascita di una nuova realtà musicale e, al tempo stesso, l’unione tra le molteplici energie artistiche del territorio, chiamate a condividere un linguaggio comune e a crescere insieme nel segno della cultura e della musica. Con la Corale Valdichiana si completa la prima fase del progetto Musica Insieme, che attraverso la creazione di orchestra, banda e coro d’area ha dato vita a un processo di costruzione collettiva destinato a proseguire anche oltre Valdichiana2025.
