La mostra trasforma il palazzo in un ambiente percettivo complesso, in cui pittura, ceramica, installazione costruiscono un attraversamento immersivo capace di modulare lo sguardo del visitatore e invitarlo alla sospensione. Il percorso ideato dall’artista dialoga in profondità con la natura stratificata del palazzo come organismo vivo, capace di attivare memorie, immaginazioni e risonanze. Le opere affrontano temi centrali nella ricerca di Chessa — metamorfosi, ibridazione, porosità delle identità e relazione tra umano e mondo naturale — dando forma a un’esperienza che non racconta ma accade, trasformando ogni stanza in una soglia. La curatrice Matilde Puleo fa emergere come la mostra sia un “campo di risonanze”, uno spazio in cui il reale e l’immaginario si toccano. Gli ambienti diventano scenari sensibili, in cui il tempo affiora come presenza e la percezione del visitatore si espande, aprendo a un ascolto profondo del vivente e delle sue metamorfosi. Durante l’apertura del 13 dicembre, il pubblico sarà accompagnato da tre interventi performativi in dialogo con le opere e con gli spazi del palazzo: Alberto Serpente, cornista; Samuele Boncompagni, attore e autore teatrale; Luca Provenzani, violoncellista. I performer guideranno il passaggio tra le stanze, rendendo l’inaugurazione un’esperienza corale e multisensoriale. L’intero progetto espositivo è reso possibile grazie al sostegno della Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze che ha permesso di consolidare e ampliare l’offerta culturale ed espositiva di CasermArcheologica capace di connettere ricerca artistica, territorio e dimensione educativa.
Dalila Chessa (1978) è un’artista aretina di adozione, la cui ricerca attraversa pittura, ceramica e installazione, con una particolare attenzione per la dimensione metamorfica della materia. La sua opera indaga le zone di contatto tra umano, animale e vegetale, esplorando l’identità come territorio poroso, permeabile, in continua trasformazione.
Le sue figure — spesso ibride, mai completamente definibili — emergono da un rapporto intuitivo e fisico con i materiali, e propongono un immaginario in cui la natura non è sfondo, ma interlocutrice viva. Chessa concepisce lo spazio espositivo come parte integrante del lavoro. Sacri scenari nasce espressamente per CasermArcheologica, Palazzo Muglioni, ascoltandone le stratificazioni e lasciando che le opere si inseriscano in un dialogo diretto con le architetture e le memorie del luogo.
