Approvato l’accordo relativo al sistema di accesso a tariffa agevolata al TPL di Arezzo per gli studenti universitari iscritti all’Università di Siena e all’Università per stranieri di Siena Approvato dalla giunta comunale l’accordo che consente agli studenti universitari iscritti all’Università degli Studi di Siena (UNISI) e all’Università per Stranieri di Siena (UNISTRASI) di usufruire di un sistema di tariffazione agevolata per il trasporto pubblico locale urbano.
L’intesa, sottoscritta tra Comune di Arezzo, ARDSU Toscana (Azienda Regionale per il Diritto allo Studio), UNISI, UNISTRASI e Autolinee Toscane, ha durata annuale e si inserisce nelle politiche di promozione della mobilità sostenibile portate avanti dall’Amministrazione. L’accordo prevede l’integrazione delle agevolazioni già presenti nel contratto di servizio regionale, estendendole anche agli studenti universitari con età pari o superiore a 26 anni e, per quanto riguarda l’agevolazione ISEE, anche agli studenti non residenti in Toscana. Le tariffe agevolate stabilite sono pari a 120 euro per l’abbonamento annuale urbano destinato agli studenti di età inferiore a 26 anni, e pari a 170 euro per gli studenti di età pari o superiore a 26 anni. contributo complessivo massimo destinato a sostenere la misura ammonta a 22.500 euro, dei quali 7.500 da parte del Comune di Arezzo, 10.000 da Università di Siena, 2.000 da UNISTRASI e 3.000 ARDSU Toscana.
Gli studenti potranno acquistare l’abbonamento tramite il sito www.at-bus.it, registrandosi nell’area dedicata e beneficiando automaticamente della tariffa ridotta, sulla base delle “white list” fornite dalle Università ad Autolinee Toscane. Con questo accordo diamo un segnale concreto alle politiche giovanili e alla mobilità sostenibile – ha dichiarato il vicesindaco Lucia Tanti. – Rendere più accessibile il trasporto pubblico significa facilitare la vita degli studenti presenti sul nostro territorio e allo stesso tempo incentivare un cambiamento culturale importante, che guarda alla sostenibilità come scelta quotidiana. È un passo avanti significativo nell’idea di una città sempre più a misura di studente e attenta all’ambiente”. “Si tratta di un lavoro portato avanti in sinergia con gli enti coinvolti, un atto che prosegue la linea politica di questa Amministrazione che è quella di favorire l’utilizzo del trasporto pubblico da parte degli utenti, in particolare in questo caso degli studenti, e ridurre l’uso del mezzo privato – ha commentato l’assessore Alessandro Casi. – L’accordo permette di applicare tariffe molto vantaggiose e rappresenta un tassello fondamentale delle politiche comunali per una mobilità moderna, sostenibile ed efficiente. Un risultato importante, che va nella direzione di una città più connessa e più semplice da vivere”. Esprimo grande soddisfazione per l’opportunità di estendere anche alla sede di Arezzo la Convenzione per il Trasporto Pubblico Locale a favore delle studentesse e degli studenti. Si tratta di una ulteriore conferma del lavoro fatto insieme agli altri attori coinvolti nella convenzione per aumentare il livello dei servizi offerti”, ha detto il Rettore UNISI Roberto Di Pietra.

Marco Del Medico – amplia, in adeguamento a quanto avviene nelle altre città della Toscana sede
di Atenei, l’efficacia della convenzione per l’utilizzo del trasporto pubblico locale da parte degli universitari nel territorio di Arezzo dove è presente una grande comunità studentesca che
necessità di un supporto per la mobilità urbana. Insieme agli altri enti partner dell’iniziativa
interveniamo per garantire questo diritto, incentivando l’utilizzo di mezzi sostenibili in economia
tramite una proposta di tariffe agevolate. Riteniamo che il trasporto pubblico sia l’unica soluzione
per ridurre il traffico cittadino e l’impatto sull’ambiente e migliorare complessivamente la qualità
della vita. Inoltre il prezzo ridotto degli abbonamenti rappresenta un ulteriore aiuto nell’alleggerire
i costi spesso onerosi che accompagnano il percorso di studio”. Siamo in piena sintonia con gli Enti del territorio nel portare avanti tutte le iniziative che possono contribuire ad incentivare la mobilità sostenibile – ha aggiunto Sandro Bartolucci, Responsabile Commerciale e Sviluppo Commerciale di Autolinee Toscane -. A maggior ragione se riusciamo a coinvolgere gli studenti in un processo virtuoso e che consente di rafforzare la cultura del Tpl”.
L’abbonamento vale doppio
L’accordo consente agli studenti che frequentano la sede di Arezzo dell’Università di Siena di accedere a tariffe dei servizi Tpl agevolate così da privilegiare l’uso dell’autobus negli spostamenti quotidiani ed incentivare pratiche di mobilità sostenibili.
Alcuni esempi:
· Chi vive ad Arezzo e frequenta la sede aretina dell’Università di Siena può sottoscrivere un abbonamento urbano annuale al prezzo promozionale di 120 euro. Per chi ha più di 26 anni, il costo è leggermente superiore: 170 euro.
· Se invece lo studente risiede in un comune della provincia di Arezzo può sottoscrivere l’abbonamento extraurbano annuale studenti, che consente di spostarsi tra il territorio provinciale e la città (il costo varia a seconda della fascia chilometrica di distanza tra il proprio comune e il capoluogo). A questo si può aggiungere, con soli 55,30 euro, l’integrazione annuale dell’abbonamento urbano di Arezzo, con la quale utilizzare tutti i servizi urbani della città per muoversi liberamente anche all’interno della città.
· Uno studente che vive a Siena ma si sposta ad Arezzo per seguire i corsi universitari nella sede distaccata può acquistare un abbonamento annuale che comprende sia i servizi urbani di Siena sia quelli di Arezzo, al costo complessivo di 240 euro. Praticamente due abbonamenti ad un costo molto vantaggioso.
