Ad Oswiecim una delegazione del Comune di Arezzo guidata dall’assessore Monica Manneschi Una delegazione del Comune di Arezzo guidata dall’assessore Monica Manneschi ha partecipato oggi ad Oswiecim alle cerimonie per l’81° anniversario della liberazione da parte dell’Armata Rossa del campo di concentramento di Auschwitz – Birkenau.
Con lei, anche l’assessore Alberto Merelli e i consiglieri Alessandro Caneschi e Francesco Lucacci. Insieme alla delegazione aretina, l’assessore ha deposto un mazzo di fiori in memoria delle vittime dell’Olocausto e ha preso parte alle commemorazioni del pomeriggio presso l’ex campo Auschwitz – Birkenau.
Ad Arezzo, insieme alle autorità civili e militari, il sindaco Alessandro Ghinelli ha partecipato alla deposizione della corona al Cimitero degli Ebrei nel Parco Ducci e alla cerimonia commemorativa che si è tenuta nella Sala dei Grandi della Provincia.
