Servizio Emergenza 118 in Casentino incontro Conferenza dei Sindaci con direttore DEU Massimo MandòSi è svolto questa mattina un incontro tra il direttore del dipartimento di emergenza/urgenza della Asl Toscana sud est Massimo Mandò, la direttrice della Zona Distretto del Casentino Antonella Secco e la conferenza dei Sindaci del Casentino, al centro dell’attenzione la situazione del servizio 118 nella vallata.
“Il dialogo con il territorio e l’Asl Toscana sud est sul tema di gestione dei servizi di emergenza urgenza non è mai mancato, dichiara Massimo Mando direttore DEU.
“Anche in questa occasione, con i sindaci del Casentino, vi è stato il riconoscimento dell’impegno dell’azienda in questo ambito.
Dobbiamo, però, essere consapevoli che il problema della mancanza di medici di emergenza investe tutta l’Italia. La nostra azienda in questi anni ha saputo gestire in maniera appropriata queste carenze grazie ad una integrazione molto avanzata tra ospedale e territorio, pronto soccorso e 118.
Purtroppo, prosegue Mandò, la difficoltà nel reperire personale per l’emergenza si è aggravata, ad esempio nel solo ultimo mese abbiamo avuto la partenza di ben tre medici dall’area del Casentino.
Persone che, legittimamente, hanno fatto scelte professionali differenti, su cui noi non possiamo intervenire .
Il nostro obiettivo rimane sempre quello di garantire un servizio di alto profilo e non smetteremo mai di farlo . La grave carenza di personale ci costringe a rimodulare i turni dei nostri professionisti e ad attivare soluzioni innovative, anche se temporanee, al fine di non lasciare scoperta nessuna zona.
Il problema, infatti, non è del Casentino o di un’altra zona ma di tutto il sistema toscano e nazionale. Queste modifiche che attuiamo non nascono con l’obiettivo di risparmiare risorse o favorire aree geografiche, anzi l’azienda Asl Toscana sud est sarebbe ben lieta e pronta ad integrare il proprio personale con nuovi medici, ma come ho detto prima, questa disponibilità di personale non c’è proprio.
La Regione Toscana ci ha confermato anche recentemente attraverso l’Assessore Bezzini, che tra i mesi di settembre ed ottobre verranno espletati i concorsi regionali per medici DEU.
La speranza è che si presentino tanti per questo lavoro.
Quella che abbiamo presentato ai sindaci del Casentino, quindi, è una rimodulazione temporanea dei turni di lavoro del personale che garantisca la piena efficienza del servizio d’emergenza e del pronto soccorso allo stesso tempo.
Fino all’arrivo dei nuovi medici, quindi, in alcune fasce orarie e giorni specifici, il servizio di 118 in Casentino verrà garantito da ambulanze infermierizzate anziché da automedica.
Queste modifiche, ribadisce il direttore Massimo Mandò, avverranno solo in orari diurni, quando l’elisoccorso regionale interviene con più facilità e velocità, e non nei festivi e prefestivi, in quanto sono giornate in cui una vallata come il Casentino aumenta di molto la propria popolazione per la presenza dei turisti, e riguarderà solo il 6% del tempo lavoro.
Ribadisco che si tratta di una soluzione temporanea in attesa dell’espletamento dei concorsi regionali.
Il nostro sistema di pronto intervento ed emergenza è preparato e molto ben organizzato.
Anche in questa fase così difficile, conclude Mandò, credo che il “Modello DEU della Asl TSE”, che si fonda su una integrazione reale tra ospedali e territorio, sia in grado di dare risposte adeguate ai bisogni della popolazione.”
Al termine dell’incontro di questa mattina il direttore Mandò ed il Presidente della Conferenza dei Sindaci Vagnoli si sono presi comunque l’impegno di aggiornarsi cadenzialmente ogni 20 giorni per monitorare il quadro della situazione.
