Passo avanti importante per la Radiologia dell’ospedale Bufalini: da qualche settimana è entrata in funzione in Pronto Soccorso la nuova TC a 128 strati, del valore di oltre 506.000 euro, acquistata con i finanziamenti del PNRR nell’ambito del programma di ammodernamento del parco tecnologico aziendale.
“E’ una apparecchiatura di ultima generazione dotata di intelligenza artificiale in sostituzione di quella precedente diventata oramai obsoleta – spiega il dottor Marcello Bisulli direttore dell’unità operativa di Radiologia dell’ospedale cesenate – Nell’ultimo anno l’equipe di Radiologia, composta da 25 medici, 56 tecnici, 10 infermieri e 9 OSS, ha eseguito più di 10mila TC per pazienti afferiti al pronto soccorso e pazienti ricoverati al Bufalini. Il nuovo macchinario – continua il dottor Bisulli – consente di velocizzare i tempi di acquisizione delle indagini riducendo la dose radiante per i pazienti e aprendo nuove prospettive in ambito diagnostico di 2° livello, come le TC per lo studio cardio sincronizzato dell’aorta toracica nelle sospette dissezioni e per le Coronaro TC finalizzate all’individuazione di stenosi emodinamicamente significative delle arterie coronariche”.
“Con l’arrivo di questa nuova apparecchiatura altamente performante in termini di immagini e qualità – afferma la dottoressa Marisa Bagnoli, direttore del presidio ospedaliero cesenate – la dotazione tecnologica dell’ospedale Bufalini compie un salto qualitativo importante. Si tratta infatti di un investimento significativo che ci consente di affrontare con maggior efficacia e flessibilità le numerose esigenze diagnostiche legate all’attività del pronto soccorso e del trauma center ma anche di potenziare la risposta alle necessità diagnostiche della specialistica ambulatoriale”.
“L’installazione della nuova TC all’ospedale Bufalini – spiega il dottor Stefano Sanniti direttore dell’Area dipartimentale Gestione e Innovazione delle Tecnologie di Ausl Romagna – rientra in un ampio programma di investimenti tecnologici di oltre 16milioni di euro finanziato con i fondi del PNNR e in corso da marzo 2023, per il rinnovo del parco tecnologico dell’Ausl della Romagna. In totale sono 33 le nuove apparecchiature per la diagnostica di precisione previste in tutti i presidi ospedalieri romagnoli, quindi nell’ambito di Ravenna (compresi Faenza e Lugo), Forlì, Cesena e Rimini (comprese Cattolica e Santarcangelo), in sostituzioni di macchinari obsoleti, di cui è stata programmata la dismissione”.
