Salvatore Sciarrino si racconta sul palco della sua città d’elezione: giovedì 19 maggio 2022 alle ore 21.00 il Teatro degli Illuminati di Città di Castello ospiterà l’evento “Parliamo di musica”, “un omaggio da parte della città dove ha scelto di vivere e dove svolge una parte importante del suo lavoro creativo”. “Sciarrino è una delle più alte espressività artistiche contemporanee in campo musicale” dichiarano il sindaco di Città di Castello, congiuntamente all’assessorato alla Cultura, annunciando la manifestazione, che sarà ad ingresso gratuito attraverso la prenotazione, fino ad esaurimento dei posti disponibili all’email cultura@comune.cittadicastello.pg.it.
Sul palco con il maestro tanti ospiti: Laura Bosio, giornalista e scrittrice, che accompagnerà gli interventi della serata, in cui parole, pensieri, ricordi e musica si alterneranno alle voci degli amici e dei colleghi che il maestro Salvatore Sciarrino ha coinvolto nell’iniziativa, nata da un’idea di Alessandro Sarteanesi con la direzione artistica di Alberto Fabi. “Sono tante le domande sulla musica che ciascuno di noi vorrebbe fare. Ma a volte ci sentiamo a disagio: troppo spesso gli intenditori ci dicono che, non sapendo di musica, non possiamo capirla. Approfittiamo di questa occasione, una festa per il maestro Sciarrino, da passare fra amici, per fare tutte le domande che vogliamo” aggiungono sindaco e assessorato, sottolineando che la serata verrà registrata e diventerà un documentario a cura di Farm Studio Factory e un libro conversazione edito da Magonza editore tra Sciarrino e il giornalista Marco Vallora. A Vallora sarà affidato il compito di interloquire con il maestro insieme al filosofo Sergio Givone, al filosofo Marcello Barison, al violista Aldo Bennici, al compositore Marco Momi. Alle parole si alterneranno quattro performances dei musicisti Matteo Cesari al flauto, Giacomo Piermatti al contrabbasso, Laura Mancini al marimbone accompagnata da Simone Nocchi e Michele Bianchini e in chiusura il flauto di Biagini Andrea. “Salvatore Sciarrino ha scelto Città di Castello come sua residenza d’elezione, qualche anno fa abbiamo voluto donare i sigilli della città a questo nostro eccellente concittadino – si conclude la nota – Con l’evento di giovedì 19 maggio, insieme ai clubs Lions e Rotary, a Tecniconsul e Sogepu, che ringraziamo per aver sostenuto convintamente, insieme al Comune, la manifestazione, proviamo a conoscerlo e a conoscere lo straordinario mondo di atmosfere, suoni e suggestioni in cui nasce la sua musica”.
