La giornata del 21 maggio è l’atto finale del progetto che si è sviluppato attraverso un percorso didattico finalizzato alla conoscenza, lo studio, l’approfondimento laboratoriale e in situ del patrimonio culturale dei nostri meravigliosi borghi: musei, palazzi, chiese, piazze, vie, monumenti, opere, storie, luoghi, musica, narrazioni.
Un percorso didattico che esce dall’aula e offre alle famiglie, alla cittadinanza, ai turisti l’opportunità di essere accompagnati dalle alunne e dagli alunni del nostro istituto alla scoperta o riscoperta di luoghi, opere d’arte, emergenze culturali di Anghiari e Monterchi. Il programma è molto ricco e si articola in visite, percorsi e attività che coprono l’intera giornata. Il nostro istituto intende così svolgere compiutamente, nell’ambito dell’offerta formativa, il proprio ruolo di principale istituzione educativa, formativa, culturale del territorio investendo sulla sua conoscenza, la sua storia, i suoi straordinari beni culturali. Riteniamo determinante per le nuove generazioni acquisire la consapevolezza del valore culturale e sociale del luogo in cui si vive, disseminare consapevolezza della ricchezza del patrimonio materiale e immateriale che ci circonda, dare forma a un’idea forte e al tempo stesso corretta di identità e di appartenenza. Appartenenza e identità proiettate al futuro, aperte al mondo, alla diversità, al dialogo tra culture, popoli, religioni, alla pace. Sul piano strettamente didattico, il progetto ci ha permesso di sviluppare competenze trasversali e interdisciplinari relative al metodo di studio, di ricerca, di comunicazione multilinguistica, alla consapevolezza ed espressione culturale, alla cittadinanza, alla socialità, al digitale.
