Città di Castello – Nel giardino della Tela Umbra, sotto il tasso che Leopoldo volle piantare, in un’atmosfera evocativa ed emozionante è stato presentato il libro di Alba Scaramucci, che è stata deputato per tre legislature, e che non è nuova a queste esperienze letterarie.
Scrittrice che ha infatti già percorso le vite di altre donne, dalla Aganoor Pompilj alla Montesperelli, la Scaramucci è venuta a Città di Castello per parlare della sua ultima fatica: “Alice carissima ti scrivo….”, un docu-romanzo dedicato all’attivista Alice Hallgarten che ha fatto del capoluogo dell’Alto Tevere il luogo di elezione morale e pratica di una delle più sconvolgenti rivoluzioni educative ed imprenditoriali. La Fondazione Villa Montesca intitolata ai baroni Alice e Leopoldo Franchetti, la Tela Umbra ed il Comune di Città di Castello hanno voluto, proprio in questo luogo, rievocare Alice e la sua testimonianza di donna, educatrice e attrice del femminismo più avanzato. La stessa autrice attraverso un gioco di citazioni, un divertissement come lo ha definito, ha raccontato la sua Alice, introducendone la figura di grande innovatrice anche nel settore del welfare grazie all’esperienza di uno dei primi asili aziendali, creato proprio alla Tela Umbra. Un racconto di una vita cosmopolita e in viaggio fra geografie lontane, suggestioni e grandi iniziative negli ambiti più sensibili della vita del suo tempo. Come ha sottolineato l’autrice, il ritratto che ha fatto di Alice è un ritratto in parte immaginato, anche se basato su documenti del tempo e su una ampia bibliografia. Un ritratto del cuore per riportare in una luce adeguata il volto e l’opera di questa grande tifernate d’adozione e cittadina del mondo. “E proprio a questa Alice e alla sua opera si ispirano i progetti educativi della Fondazione Villa Montesca, come ha ricordato nella sua emozionata introduzione Maria Rita Bracchini, responsabile ricerca educativa dell’ente che ha sede a Villa Montesca, sottolineando come abbia potuto percepire fisicamente il respiro di Alice avendo avuto l’ufficio presso quella che un tempo fu la sua camera da letto ed evidenziando come ancora oggi la Baronessa offra spunti attualissimi per un’azione educativa inclusiva che la Fondazione continua a promuovere”. “Una donna che appartiene anche a questo territorio e al mondo nello stesso tempo, come ha voluto rimarcare l’Assessore alle Pari Opportunità del Comune di Città di Castello, Letizia Guerri, una figura potente che richiama chi amministra ad una attenzione sempre altissima ai diritti delle donne, oggi ancora messi in discussione come dimostrano le amare cronache, anche da imprenditrici che li dovrebbero difendere strenuamente”. Su Alice attuale si è soffermato anche il Vice-Presidente del Consiglio Regionale Michele Bettarelli, una ricchezza per il nostro territorio la sua eredità materiale, ma anche morale che ci riempie di orgoglio e di responsabilità. Sulla stessa linea il Presidente di Tela Umbra, Pasquale La Gala, che ha raccontato la storia dei telai di Alice simbolo della sua cura imprenditoriale e della sua visione prospettica del mondo femminile, in quel luogo magico che ha ospitato l’incontro, ancora traccia visibile dopo più di cento anni della tela morale e materiale della Baronessa. “Una visione condivisa quella di Alice e Leopoldo, ha ricordato Angelo Capecci, Presidente della Fondazione Villa Montesca che ha risposto alla domanda su chi era Alice, donna e pedagogista, capace di innovazioni straordinarie e di radunare alla Montesca un cenacolo straordinario di femministe provenienti da tutto il mondo, da Aurelia Josz, alla cara amica Malwida Von Mayesburg, solo per citarne alcune”. Un libro senza dubbio, quello della Scaramucci, improntato al racconto emotivo, alla tecnica della narrazione intima ed introspettiva, che ha cercato di presentare Alice per come l’autrice immaginava che fosse nelle pieghe della sua vita quotidiana. Il Libro è uscito per i tipi di Futura ed è disponibile in tutte le librerie, anche on-line. Un invito ha concluso la Bracchini a leggerlo come un romanzo, ma a meditarlo come un saggio, per avere uno spunto per ricerche ulteriori sulla Baronessa che a soli 37 anni ha lasciato la sua Valle del Tevere e questa vita terrena, oltre che per comprendere le sue preziose azioni umanitarie, educative e sociali.
