ROMA – Ugl Metalmeccanici: “Concluso il Coordinamento Nazionale” “L’Ugl chiede al governo gesti coraggiosi, non essendo solita lanciare grida d’allarme, ma è giunto il momento. Le industrie hanno tenuto insieme il Paese nel momento drammatico della pandemia, a circa tre mesi dalla guerra consentono se pur con mille difficoltà a garantire posti di lavoro e reddito in un momento di grande difficoltà. Il colosso dell’industria italiana regge ancora ma non possiamo comprendere fino a quando”.
Lo dichiara Antonio Spera, Segretario Nazionale Ugl Metalmeccanici a conclusione del Coordinamento Nazionale della federazione tenutosi in videoconferenza dalla sede nazionale del sindacato di Via Raffaele Cadorna, 22 in Roma “Con grande responsabilità le industrie italiane hanno condiviso le pesanti sanzioni inflitte a Mosca, ma portiamo sulle spalle come sindacato la enorme difficoltà che in Italia non abbiamo l’inflazione più elevata che si registra altrove in Europa, solo perché essendo partecipativi con il fabbisogno aziendale, in questi mesi si è condiviso con l’industria italiana di non trasferire sui clienti gli enormi sovraccosti che subiscono. Non può certamente continuare così perché – prosegue Spera –, diverse aziende e imprenditori stanno giungendo al lastrico finanziario. Per l’Ugl, accelerare sulle occasioni del Recovery Fund e dei fondi dal PNRR favorendo la transizione ecologica: sostenibilità e transizione energetica deve comportare una strategia efficiente sostenibile a lungo termine che tradotta, significherebbe occupazione e lavoro duraturo per un territorio italiano che perennemente soffre e continua a dare tanto al sistema industriale. L’aumento dei prezzi dei combustibili fossili in seguito alla guerra in Ucraina mette in evidenza la necessità di accelerare la transizione verso l’energia pulita a rinnovabile. Per l’Ugl, vanno tagliate le imposte indirette sui carburanti una volta per tutte. Non è possibile che lo Stato in questo momento benefici di un extra-gettito per miliardi e poi ha pensato di abbattere il prezzo al distributore solo di 15 centesimi al litro. Vogliamo – ha concluso il segretario Nazionale UglM, Spera – che il Governo Italiano si renda conto che in nessun paese europeo accise e Iva sono pari al 123% del costo industriale del carburante. E’ folle che ancora oggi su benzina e gasolio gravino voci come la crisi di Suez del 1956, la ricostruzione del Vajont, l’alluvione di Firenze, il terremoto del Friuli: ci sono a rischio migliaia di posti di lavoro”.
