Interverranno il presidente della Società Storica Aretina Luca Berti, il rettore del quartiere Maurizio Carboni e il rettore vicario Gianni Sarrini. Conduce il giornalista e cancelliere del Quartiere Saverio Crestini.
“I Quartieri di Arezzo: dal medioevo alla Giostra del Saracino”, questo il tema della conferenza che si terrà martedì 24 maggio alle ore 21:15 al Quartiere di Porta Sant’Andrea nella Sala d’Armi di Palazzo san Giusto (via Delle Gagliarde 2, Arezzo). La serata, dedicata alle origini dei Quartieri aretini all’inizio del XIII secolo e al loro successivo scomparire, fino al ripristino della Giostra del Saracino negli anni ’30, si inserisce nel ciclo di iniziative per il novantesimo anniversario della costituzione degli attuali quattro Quartieri, sancita dallo statuto del 23 marzo 1932. Interverranno il presidente della Società Storica Aretina Luca Berti, il rettore Maurizio Carboni e il rettore vicario Gianni Sarrini. Condurrà Saverio Crestini, giornalista e cancelliere del Quartiere. Durante la serata verranno proiettate antiche piante topografiche della città di Arezzo, documenti dell’epoca medioevale e contemporanea e saranno messe in mostra cartoline storiche della Giostra dall’anteguerra a oggi. L’evento, in collaborazione con la Società Storica Aretina, è aperto a tutta la cittadinanza.
