Città di Castello – Antropologia e pallone: due termini al centro di una fusione non solo terminologica ma anche filosofica ed educativa. Questo strano binomio ha suscitato l’interesse di Angelo Stumpo, attuale Dirigente Scolastico del liceo Plinio il Giovane di Città di Castello, che nel suo libro “Antropallonismo. Riflessioni su una sindrome psicosociale dell’uomo moderno” fa un’analisi senza sconti dello sport più diffuso che coinvolge tutti: coloro che ne sono appassionati, coloro che non sono appassionati ma che ne subiscono indirettamente gli effetti, coloro che lo criticano apertamente.
Il libro di Angelo Stumpo sarà al centro di un incontro, promosso dalla Fondazione Villa Montesca, che si terrà alla Biblioteca Comunale “Giosuè Carducci” di Città di Castello venerdì 27 maggio alle ore 17,00. L’autore ne discuterà insieme a Fabrizio Boldrini, direttore della Fondazione e la presentazione sarà introdotta da Letizia Guerri, Assessore ai Servizi Educativi del Comune di Città di Castello e da Angelo Capecci, Presidente della Fondazione e storico della filosofia. Nel corso dell’incontro i maestri Fabio Battistelli e Anthony Guerrini sottolineeranno i momenti della discussione con un contributo musicale. Angelo Stumpo, filosofo e docente, prima di arrivare a Città di Castello ha insegnato per molti anni filosofia nei licei. Proprio da questa sua esperienza deriva un’attenta riflessione sul calcio come fenomeno di carattere sociale: che posto occupa nella nostra vita? È un momento di relax e divertimento o è la manifestazione di un disagio sociale? Quale influenza esercita sull’individuo e sulle nuove generazioni? Il Volume mette in evidenza come il mondo del pallone sia diventato la manifestazione di una sindrome dell’uomo moderno, che desidera rifugiarsi nella finzione per sfuggire da una realtà pervasiva e complessa. Il calcio, che ci regala emozioni straordinarie, è stato però anche trasformato in uno strumento al servizio del mercato, invadendo i diversi campi dell’attività umana, primo tra tutti la formazione della persona.
