L’11 febbraio 2016 e l’8 agosto 2018, due interrogazioni rispettivamente di Angelo Rossi e Donato Caporali avevano chiesto al sindaco di dare seguito alla delibera.
Ha una genesi più recente la dedica ad Alberto Cavaliere, conseguenza di un atto di indirizzo approvato dal Consiglio Comunale all’unanimità il 29 maggio 2018 e firmato dai consiglieri Meri Stella Cornacchini, Giovanni Bonacci, Simone Chierici, Angiolino Piomboni, Egiziano Andreani. Alberto Cavaliere (1897-1967) è stato poeta, scrittore e autore di un testo in rima dedicato alla Giostra del Saracino.
