L’ACF Arezzo ricevuto a Palazzo Cavallo. Una targa per festeggiare la straordinaria stagione e il traguardo della Serie B mUna targa per celebrare la stagione trionfale dell’Arezzo calcio femminile. Questa sera il vice sindaco Lucia Tanti e l’assessore allo sport Federico Scapecchi hanno ricevuto, nella Sala del Consiglio Comunale di Palazzo Cavallo, le ragazze amaranto al gran completo accompagnate dal presidente Massimo Anselmi e dal mister Emiliano Testini.
È stata l’occasione per dimostrare l’orgoglio di un’intera città per la promozione in Serie B, senza dimenticare l’imbattibilità mantenuta fino all’ultima giornata. Il vice sindaco Tanti e l’assessore Scapecchi hanno consegnato al capitano Laura Verdi una targa per complimentarsi per il grande traguardo raggiunto con l’auspicio che il meglio debba ancora venire.
“Non possiamo che essere orgogliosi di avere una squadra così vincente e ben preparata a rappresentare la nostra città – ha dichiarato il sindaco Ghinelli nel messaggio indirizzato alla squadra -. Arezzo è orgogliosa di queste ragazze che hanno vinto sul campo e hanno mandato un forte messaggio a tutti noi. L’Arezzo del presidente Anselmi è la dimostrazione che con professionalità e programmazione si possono ottenere grandi risultati. Il cavallino rampante e la maglia amaranto tornano a farci sorridere, sognare e a regalarci un grande momento di gioia”.
Gli ha fatto eco l’assessore allo sport Federico Scapecchi: “Una doppia vittoria per queste ragazze, quella sportiva e schiacciante sul rettangolo verde e quella sociale dimostrando che le donne possono giocare al calcio e possono farlo anche molto bene. Arezzo adesso si riconosce con soddisfazione anche nella maglia amaranto indossata da capitan Verdi e compagne. Grazie anche al presidente Massimo Anselmi che ha messo a disposizione di queste calciatrici delle strutture dignitose e uno staff serio e professionale”.
Oltre a portare il saluto del sindaco Ghinelli, anche il vicesindaco Lucia Tanti ha rivolto parole di apprezzamento alle ragazze dell’ACF Arezzo. “Una stagione felice che ha mosso prima, e consolidato poi, una simpatia istintiva e contagiosa nei confronti di queste atlete anche tra chi non può dirsi un vero appassionato di sport. E questo è, forse, il risultato più importante che le ragazze dell’ACF Arezzo hanno ottenuto, raccogliendo intorno a loro un tifo sano e trasversale che sarà di sicuro sostegno per l’avventura che stanno per intraprendere nella serie superiore”.
