Lunedì 4 luglio, ore 21.30 – Fortezza Medicea, Arezzo Spazio Seme festeggia in musica i suoi primi 10 anni di attività con un concerto che abbraccia il meglio dei brani americani di Broadway e le opere classiche del repertorio americano jazz e blues
È dedicato al tema della diversità, dell’inclusione e della pace il concerto “Classic Jazz & Broadway Concert”,una produzione originale di Spazio Seme, in anteprima nazionale, che coinvolge un ensemble di OIDA Orchestra instabile di Arezzo. Si terrà lunedì 4 luglio alle 21.30 alla Fortezza Medicea di Arezzo all’interno del cartellone “Estate in Fortezza”. Una serata per celebrare i primi 10 anni di attività di Spazio Seme, impresa culturale e centro artistico di formazione internazionale fondato da Leonardo Lambruschini, Gianni Bruschi e Francesco Botti. In occasione dell’Independence Day americano, l’ensemble composto da musicisti classici e jazzisti accompagnerà la voce di Gianni Bruschi e di venti giovani cantanti selezionati dalla Friends University (USA), per “Opera Seme International Program of Voice”, programma di formazione per cantanti lirici con insegnanti americani e italiani, che si esibiranno in un crossover tra musica americana e musica italiana del Novecento, arricchito da letture sui diritti umani. Sul palco con Gianni Bruschi (voce) saliranno Lorenzo Rossi, primo violino e co-direttore artistico di OIDA Orchestra instabile di Arezzo, Marna Fumarola violino, Ivan Elefante tromba, Elisa Pieschi violoncello, Santiago Fernandez pianoforte, Francesco Sarrini contrabbasso, Erika Capanni viola, Davide Montagnoli batteria, Mattia Zecchi sassofono, Saverio Zacchei trombone, Lauren Koszyk tastiere, Rebecca Schloneger violino e Lily Schloneger violino.
La formazione dei giovani cantanti invece è composta da: Mikayla Beck, Logan Briscoe, Naomi Cavanaugh, Katie Copeland, Paige Gadbois, Asael Gonzalez Castillo, Abigail Hale, Chenille Hawkins, Hannah Howard, Kelsey Huxman, Evangeline Mason, Julia Pace, Sophia Parker, Salma Pena, Clayton Reitz, Jordan Roth, Olivia Siri, Sam Scantlin, Davian Raggio, Makayla Flocken. In scaletta il meglio dei brani americani di Broadway dai musical di Rodgers & Hammerstein e Lerner & Loewe alle canzoni di Leonard Bernstein, Cole Porter e compositori contemporanei come Andrew Lloyd Weber, Alan Menken e altri. A seguire verranno eseguite opere classiche del repertorio americano jazz/blues arrangiate da Ivan Elefante, portate al successo da voci femminili del ventesimo secolo come Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Sarah Vaughan, Judy Garland, ma anche interpreti italiane come Mina, con brani di Ennio Morricone, Domenico Modugno, Umberto Bindi, Bruno Martino. Il concerto è realizzato in collaborazione con Fondazione Guido D’Arezzo, Comune di Arezzo e Mengo music fest, di cui rappresenta il concerto di anteprima del festival in partenza il giorno successivo 5 luglio. “Classic Jazz & broadway concert” è realizzato anche grazie al sostegno di Sandy Caffè. Spazio Seme è un centro artistico internazionale fondato nel 2012 da Leonardo Lambruschini, performer e danzatore, Gianni Bruschi, cantante e attore e Francesco Botti, attore, scrittore, regista. Opera nel mondo dell’arte, della formazione e dello spettacolo, promuovendo collaborazioni con realtà italiane e internazionali. Spazio Seme si occupa di linguaggi artistici attraverso corsi e laboratori per bambini, adolescenti e adulti: dal teatro al canto, dalla danza contemporanea alla scrittura creativa e molto altro. È inoltre uno dei centri di riferimento per la danza Contact Improvisation a livello mondiale. Ha ospitato residenze artistiche e workshop intensivi con danzatori di fama internazionale. Sono diversi i progetti realizzati in questi anni in collaborazione con le scuole oltre a un impegno proficuo in contesti sociali legati alla disabilità.
