AREZZO – Una pattuglia della Polizia Municipale in servizio notava unautovettura BMW con a bordo il solo conducente che circolava con un dispositivo lampeggiante blu del tutto simile a quello usato dalle forze di polizia in funzione e collocato sopra il tettuccio di quel veicolo
La pattuglia insospettita iniziava a seguire a breve distanza la BMW fino a quando il conducente della stessa, accortosi della presenza del veicolo di servizio si dava alla fuga iniziando una serie di manovre brusche e repentine nel chiaro tentativo di seminare gli agenti. Nonostante il veicolo della Polizia Municipale avesse azionato sirena e lampeggianti e gli agenti al suo interno facessero cenno al conducente di fermarsi esponendo fuori dal finestrino come segnale distintivo la paletta di servizio, la BMW non accennava a rallentare, anzi commetteva tutta una serie di manovre pericolosissime mettendo a repentaglio in numerose occasioni lincolumità e la sicurezza altrui, violando più volte le norme del codice della strada tanto che, al fine di intercettare e fermare lautovettura, si rendeva necessario richiedere lausilio di altre pattuglie. Linseguimento dal centro città si spostava nellimmediata periferia cittadina: la BMW, infatti, prendeva la S.R. 69 percorrendola fino a Pratantico quando il suo conducente, nel tentativo di far perdere le tracce, simmetteva in una strada bianca e si fermava, pensando che la manovra fosse sfuggita agli agenti inseguitori. Veniva però immediatamente raggiunto dagli stessi che scendevano dallauto di servizio per identificare il conducente della BMW. Ma questultimo ripartiva improvvisamente, riusciva a evitare il veicolo della Polizia Municipale lasciato a chiudere la strada e riprendeva la fuga. Non senza difficoltà la BMW veniva fermata a Indicatore e finalmente le pattuglie intervenute identificavano il conducente, un cittadino di nazionalità italiana di 48 anni residente fuori regione ma attualmente nel territorio comunale per motivi di lavoro. La BMW veniva perquisita e al suo interno era rinvenuto, occultato sotto il sedile anteriore, il lampeggiante blu utilizzato durante la fuga che era stato preventivamente tolto dal tettuccio. Il dispositivo veniva sequestrato mentre luomo era deferito allAutorità Giudiziaria per resistenza e per aver detenuto e fatto uso di un segno distintivo in uso a corpi di polizia
