AREZZO – LA PERFORMANCE DI DANZA E COMPOSIZIONE ISTANTANEA CHIUDE “DANCE&MUSIC”, RESIDENZA ARTISTICA CON LA SOUTHERN UTAH UNIVERSITY Si tiene domani venerdì 5 agosto, alle 22, ad Arezzo, presso la sede di Spazio Seme in Via del Pantano, 36, lo spettacolo “Moving environment”, conclusione della residenza artistica rivolta a danzatori e professionisti italiani e americani in collaborazione con la Southern Utah University (Cedar City, Utah, USA)
Sarà uno spettacolo di danza e composizione istantanea, improvvisazione, voce e atmosfere sonore in cui si esibiranno: Cammarata Elvira, Barsacchi Flavio, Giulia Refosco, Elisa Castagnoli, Beatrice Barlozzetti, Falcone Mariagiovanna, Yuri Novitsky, Taylor DeMille, Annie DeMille, Megan McClellan, Emily Benson, Lehi Moran, Anne Turner, Katherine Greenfield, Keith Bradshaw e Andrea Vazquez, diretti dai docenti Paolo Cingolani (Italia), Andrea Vazquez-Aguirre (USA/Messico), Consuelo Pacheco (Cile/Italia), Leonardo Lambruschini (Italia), Keith M. Bradshaw (USA), con la partecipazione di Gianfranco Pigozzi per le suggestioni sonore. La residenza è stata un’esperienza intensiva di cultura Italiana e un programma serrato di lezioni, coaching, masterclass e workshop su temi connessi a danza, musica e corpo. I partecipanti hanno potuto seguire le lezioni negli spazi di CAMU, nella cornice di Pizza Grande di Arezzo, presso la sede di Spazio Seme e all’aperto nella natura. Hanno preso parte al progetto danzatori esperti e professionisti del movimento e della composizione: un laboratorio intensivo di ricerca dove si sono incontrate diverse realtà, “orbitando” nello stesso spazio, nel tempo dell’improvvisazione. Tra i temi principali proposti: Instant Composition, Contact Improvisation, Somatic practice e Visual art e music. Il workshop di Instant composition, metodo per creare movimenti, suoni e parole in modo intuitivo e spontaneo, è stato condotto da Paolo Cingolani, danzatore specializzato nell’arte dell’improvvisazione e della composizione istantanea; il laboratorio di Contact Improvisation, danza basata sull’improvvisazione, è stato tenuto da Leonardo Lambruschini, performer e danzatore, cofondatore e direttore artistico di Spazio Seme, insegnante di Contact Improvisation e Consuelo Pacheco, danzatrice, insegnante e ricercatrice somatica. Le lezioni di Somatic practice, sono state tenute da Andrea Vazquez-Aguirre, artista di danza interdisciplinare, mentre Visual art e music è stato condotto da Keith M. Bradshaw, decano associato del College of Performing and Visual Arts e docente di musica alla Southern Utah University.
La residenza “Dance & Music” e lo spettacolo “Moving environment” sono realizzati con la collaborazione di CAMU, Fondazione Guido d’Arezzo e Arezzo Music. Spazio Seme è uno centro artistico internazionale fondato nel 2012 da Leonardo Lambruschini, performer e danzatore, Gianni Bruschi, cantante e attore e Francesco Botti, attore, scrittore, regista. Opera nel mondo dell’arte, della formazione e dello spettacolo, promuovendo collaborazioni con realtà italiane e internazionali.
