Sabato 27 agosto 2022 Cortona ospiterà in frazione Mercatale la prima edizione di “Mercatale sotto le stelle”, l’iniziativa realizzata dalla Confcommercio con il contributo del Comune di Cortona e della Banca Popolare di Cortona. Sarà una lunga serata all’insegna del divertimento, dell’enogastronomia e dello shopping. I negozi resteranno infatti aperti fino a mezzanotte e già dal tardo pomeriggio sarà possibile girare tra le vetrine e i banchi del piccolo mercatino straordinario dell’artigianato e dei prodotti a chilometro zero allestito ai giardini. Ristoranti e bar proporranno cene e aperitivi all’aperto. A dar loro man forte arriveranno anche le macellerie della zona, che serviranno in piazza carpacci con verdure, affettati e altre specialità di carne alla griglia o arrostite. Ad arricchire l’evento, musica e animazione per bambini – con i gonfiabili – offriranno l’opportunità di godersi un’altra bella serata estiva nella cittadina. L’iniziativa sarà presentata ufficialmente nelle prossime settimane, con una conferenza stampa che servirà a chiarire tutti i dettagli del programma e le ultime novità. L’obiettivo è che diventi una festa “formato famiglia”, pensata per far divertire giovani e meno giovani, i residenti come i turisti.
