E’ il caso di una signora della provincia di Firenze che è stata condannata a sei mesi per aver dato la droga al figlio tossicodipendente, che poi è morto La signora era accusata di aver acquistato quotidianamente dell’eroina da uno spacciatore e di averla poi data al figlio che, iniettandosela, superava la crisi di astinenza. Ma questa volta la dose è stata mortale. Assolta dal reato di spaccio, la signora è stata condannata a sei mesi per la morte del figlio (1)
Certo, esistono i Serd *, e a Firenze per quanto possibile funzionano… ma evidentemente non sono alla portata di tutti, qualcosa non funziona, ché non è cosa bella per una madre andare tutti i giorni a comprare l’eroina per il figlio.
Ma quel qualcosa più determinante che non funziona è che qualcuno debba morire di overdose e che alla tossicodipendenza si debba rispondere con cure medicalmente insufficienti (metadone, etc) e, per esempio, non si prendano come esempi, in Paesi dove vige altrettanto proibizionismo come in Italia, le cosiddette narcosale (Spagna, Francia, Germania, Svizzera, Usa, Australia, etc.), dove il malato arriva con la sua sostanza e se la inietta in un ambiente medicalmente vigilato e pronto ad ogni evenienza. Un inno all’ipocrisia in Paesi dove queste sostanze sono vietate, certo, ma si evita qualche morto. In Italia le narcosale non ci sono, ci sono i Serd ma, per l’appunto, oltre ad essere medicalmente un’altra cosa sono anche meno accessibili da chi fa uso di queste sostanze. Il caso della provincia di Firenze è emblematico.
In piena campagna elettorale, dove ci sono anche coloro che vogliono mettere in galera chi si fa una canna, una vicenda del genere ci sbatte in faccia la realtà.. quella che i nostri legislatori non vogliono affrontare, con riduzioni del danno come le narcosale o legalizzando tutte le sostanze droganti sì da legalizzare i malati e le cure per gli stessi.
