Il Comune di Firenze e Oblong Contemporary Art Gallery a cura di Luca Beatrice SABATO 8 OTTOBRE ORE 11:30 Palazzo Vecchio, Sala di Lorenzo – Firenze seguirà la visita alle opere installate nella città l Comune di Firenze e Oblong Contemporary Art Gallery annunciano l’apertura della mostra ATTRAVERSO di Antonio Signorini che avrà luogo dall’8 ottobre 2022 al 31 gennaio 2023 in tre delle più suggestive piazze del centro storico della città di Firenze
Piazza del Carmine, dove saranno installati Arcturus e Sun i due cavalli volanti monumentali in bronzo che raggiungono, ciascuno, i 10 metri di lunghezza, piazza San Firenze, che vede l’installazione delle danzatrici e dei guerrieri monumentali in bronzo, e piazza del Grano, che ospita Luce, una maschera ancestrale in bronzo dorato, sono le piazze che compongono il percorso espositivo della mostra ATTRAVERSO di Antonio Signorini, scultore di origine toscana che da lungo tempo vive e lavora a Dubai, negli Emirati, dove molte delle sue opere sono esposte in aree pubbliche e dove, lo studio tra la coesistenza di antiche civilizzazioni e le strutture architettoniche ultramoderne, è divenuto fonte di ispirazione e di confronto. Lavorare in una delle aree di più antica civilizzazione circondato dai grattacieli più avveniristici è la chance per l’artista di creare un trait d’union tra il passato, il presente e il futuro. La mostra di Firenze che segna un confronto con la magnificenza di una tra le città più importanti al mondo per patrimonio, storia, arte e cultura, rappresenta ad oggi per l’artista il dialogo più pregnante tra le sue opere e gli spazi che le ospitano.

After I initially left a comment I appear to have clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now whenever a comment is added I get four emails with the same comment. There has to be a way you are able to remove me from that service? Cheers!
