L’appuntamento, a cura di Roberto Cresti e Rita Ceccarelli, racconterà le storie del mezzo-soprano/contralto Francesco Bernardi detto Senesino (ca. 1680 – 1759) e della soprano Marietta Piccolomini Clementini (1834-1899).In attesa della XIX Giornata Nazionale del Trekking Urbano 2022, che si svolgerà lunedì 31 ottobre 2022 e che sarà dedicata ai luoghi della musica, dello spettacolo, del cinema e alle loro storie, si terrà giovedì 27 ottobre alle ore 17.30 nella sala Sant’Ansano del Complesso Museale Santa Maria della Scala di Siena, l’iniziativa “Che spettacolo di trekking. Francesco Bernardi e Marietta Piccolomini: storie e aneddoti su due grandi cantanti senesi”. L’appuntamento, a cura di Roberto Cresti e Rita Ceccarelli, approfondirà la storia di due eccellenze canore, che tra il XVIII e il XIX secolo portarono il nome di Siena, dove erano nate, nei più importanti palcoscenici europei e d’oltreoceano: il mezzo-soprano/contralto Francesco Bernardi detto Senesino (ca. 1680 – 1759) e la soprano Marietta Piccolomini Clementini (1834-1899). Entrambi partiti da Siena, il primo come cantore del Duomo, evirato da giovanetto per renderne ancor più soave la voce, la seconda esordendo al Teatro dei Rinnovati ad appena 17 anni, lasciarono ben presto la città natale andando a mietere successi straordinari nei principali teatri internazionali: Dresda e soprattutto Londra il Senesino, Londra, Parigi e New York la Piccolomini, tanto amata da Giuseppe Verdi da volerla come protagonista femminile de “La Traviata” e de “Il Trovatore”.La serata sarà anche l’occasione per presentare il percorso di Siena durante la Giornata Nazionale del Trekking Urbano di lunedì 31 ottobre 2022.
LA GIORNATA NAZIONALE DEL TREKKING URBANO – Torna la “Giornata nazionale del trekking urbano”: la 19esima edizione dell’appuntamento, sempre più atteso e partecipato, si svolgerà lunedì 31 ottobre in 71 comuni delle 17 regioni aderenti alla manifestazione, ideata dal Comune di Siena e in collaborazione con le tre associazione di guide turistiche locali: Associazione Centro Guide, AGT e Federagit. L’evento, che si propone di promuovere il turismo sostenibile, incentivare la scoperta del territorio e valorizzarne le sue bellezze, paesaggistiche, culturali e gastronomiche, si estende e conquista anche la prima grande città europea, quella di Porto, grazie alla collaborazione con URBiNAT, progetto finanziato nell’ambito del programma Horizon 2020 dell’Unione Europea.
“CHE SPETTACOLO DI TREKKING” – La manifestazione coinvolgerà, all’insegna dello slogan “Che Spettacolo di Trekking”, tutto il territorio nazionale da Nord a Sud. In elenco, si scorgono tanti capoluoghi di provincia come Bologna, Ancona, Cagliari, Trento e Urbino, città d’eccellenza quali Mantova, Arezzo, Salerno, Lucca e Aosta, nonché borghi meno conosciuti ma non meno meritevoli, come Cassino, Amelia, Narni, Murlo, Ceglie Messapica, Tarquinia e Sestri Levante.
