A seguito dei molteplici avvistamenti di una famiglia di ungulati nella zona sud della città di Sansepolcro, il comune si è adoperato per la tutela dei cittadini nel massimo rispetto degli animali. Nella giornata di venerdì 28 ottobre una squadra dell’ATC 2 Valtiberina, Ambito Territoriale di Caccia, assieme ad un gruppo di cacciatori volontari, ha effettuato un’operazione di allontanamento degli ungulati per scacciare la famiglia dalla zona abitata verso il territorio montano.
Per garantire la buona riuscita delle operazioni, nonchè la tutela degli utenti, sono intervenuti anche agli agenti della Polizia Municipale di Sansepolcro.Le operazioni sono iniziate alle 15, dopo aver perlustrato alcuni punti dove solitamente erano stati avvistati gli animali, sono stati allontanati 4 esemplari spinti verso i monti a nord-est. Questa soluzione, adottata dall’amministrazione dopo aver valutato quale potesse essere quella più adatta alla situazione, ha permesso di non abbattere gli animali, ma nel pieno rispetto della loro natura, di riportarli in un luogo selvaggio consono alla loro sopravvivenza.
