Nasce, così, un nuovo itinerario legato ai luoghi della memoria, dal territorio di Verghereto e Bagno di Romagna fino a Cesena, lungo gli eventi che costellarono il periodo 1943-1944. Un percorso che collega idealmente i primi momenti all’indomani dell’8 settembre 1943, con il formarsi dei primi nuclei di Resistenza, per arrivare alla liberazione di Cesena, il 20 ottobre 1944.
Il percorso si aggiunge agli itinerari già sviluppati legati all’ambiente, all’ecosostenibilità, all’outdoor education e alla cultura. Da sempre il viaggio – grande metafora formativa fin dal Grand Tour del XVIII secolo – è centrale e affascinante. L’uso didattico del territorio è il nodo cruciale da evocare quando parliamo di nuova offerta formativa e di turismo sostenibile.
Per questo motivo la Destination Management Company ha organizzato, dal 10 al 12 novembre, un educational tour rivolto a trenta insegnanti provenienti da varie regioni italiane. L’occasione ha permesso di mostrare le opportunità che i Percorsi del Savio possono offrire alle scuole del territorio nazionale. Una destinazione multidisciplinare che ha la capacità di poter offrire varietà di prodotti e, soprattutto, che può creare proposte tailor-made per ogni tipo di target, dalla scuola primaria alla secondaria. Si parte quindi con una nuova importante sfida in grado di aumentare i flussi turistici e contribuire alla destagionalizzazione della destinazione.
