Non si ferma la solidarietà delle amiche di “Uncinetto e caffè”, inarrestabili nella produzione a maglia di kit di scarpine, berrettini e scaldacuori, per i piccoli nati prematuri ricoverati nella Terapia Intensiva Neonatale dell’Ospedale Bufalini. Così, in occasione della giornata mondiale della prematurità, le benefattrici, guidate da Maria Bornazzini, hanno voluto rendere omaggio ai neonati e alle loro famiglie, donando l’ennesimo quantitativo di caldi completini realizzati a mano, questa volta tutti viola, il colore scelto per celebrare la giornata della prematurità.
Le amiche di Uncinetto e caffè, si ritrovano creando anche un’occasione di socializzazione, per realizzare volontariamente e gratuitamente, attraverso un lavoro artigianale, i minuscoli completini con materie prime di alta qualità, che vengono poi donati ad ogni nato prematuro, per infondere alle famiglie quel calore e senso di accoglienza di cui hanno bisogno in un momento particolare della vita. La consegna è avvenuta direttamente nelle mani della coordinatrice infermieristica della Tin, Alice Rasi e di alcune infermiere dell’equipe che con amore e dedizione si prendono cura quotidianamente dei piccoli ricoverati all’interno della Terapia Intensiva Neonatale. “Con entusiasmo e gratitudine – afferma Marcello Stella, Direttore della UO Pediatria e Terapia Intensiva Neonatale – accogliamo sempre questo dono molto gradito anche alle neo mamme e papà, perché consente di dare conforto alle famiglie in un momento molto importante e delicato come quello della nascita”. Si unisce ai ringraziamenti anche la direzione dell’Azienda usl della Romagna, per questa nuova donazione che si aggiunge alle altre numerose fatte in questi anni dalle amiche di Uncinetto e caffè, a sostegno del percorso di umanizzazione delle cure.
