Se la data della rinascita della Giostra del Saracino nel ventesimo secolo è certamente la Giostra del 7 agosto 1931, il 1932 è l’anno in cui la giostra assume le caratteristiche che ancora oggi fanno parte del patrimonio storico della Festa cittadina: quell’anno, infatti, vennero costituiti gli attuali quattro Quartieri che sono tuttora i protagonisti del torneo; Alberto Severi e Giuseppe Pietri scrissero l’inno della Giostra “Terra d’Arezzo” e, infine, il 7 agosto 1932 venne istituita la “Lancia d’oro” quale premio al Quartiere vincitore. Per ricordare l’evento il Quartiere di Porta Sant’Andrea ha realizzato una cartolina celebrativa che riproduce una foto edita dall’E.N.A.Lnegli anni ’40, dove spicca, in piedi sulla “Colonna infame” a fianco del Vessillo cittadino, un valletto del Comune con in mano la Lancia d’oro. Lo scatto, in bianco e nero, è stato parzialmente restaurato a colori. La cartolina sarà in vendita al costo di 2€, a partire da sabato 26 novembre in occasione della pizzeria al Quartiere e durante gli altri appuntamenti del mese. La tiratura è di novanta esemplari, numerati progressivamente da 1 a 90, è possibile prenotare il numero desiderato contattando anche per WhatsApp il numero +39 3292610458.
