SANSEPOLCRO – “Tra servi e padroni nasce Gesù”, è questo il titolo del presepe della Società Rionale di Porta Romana che come da tradizione è stato allestito nella chiesa di Santa Marta. Due mesi di lavoro per realizzare questa opera sempre molto attesa dai cittadini e che saprà ammaliare i turisti che stanno visitando la nostra bella città addobbata a festa.
Brunetto Brilli e la moglie Mimma sono parte attiva della realizzazione, assieme ad altri volontari che quest’anno hanno realizzato un’opera che parla di storia e tradizione. Grande la soddisfazione del presidente della società rionale Valentino Borghesi che ha spiegato ai presenti, assieme a Mimma i dettagli di questa natività che resterà aperta al pubblico fino al 15 gennaio prossimo. Una finestra sul passato che parla non solo della storia del vangelo, ma anche della nostra vallata.
Di seguito la descrizione dell’opera:
Quest’anno il presepe è ambientato nel Medioevo, l’epoca in cui la società è divisa tra servi della gleba e i signori feudali. Questi ultimi, tra i sec.XI e XII costruirono torri che, arricchendosi di strutture per la difesa, divennero castelli. Anche in questa zona della Valtiberina furono edificati numerosi castelli, costruzioni che sono giunte a noi quasi tutte rimaneggiate o ridotte a ruderi. Qui abbiamo ricostruito quelli di Galbino, Montauto, Montedoglio, Mignano, Brancialino e Castelnuovo, di cui diamo brevi informazioni. Galbino. Risalente al sec.XI, fu modificato dai Conti Barbolani di Montauto. Distrutto da un incendio, fu trasformato in villa residenziale dal signore del feudo imperiale Federigo negli anni 1513-1582. Montauto. Costruito intorno al 1170-1180, fu feudo imperiale fino al 1815 quando il Congresso di Vienna non ripristinò la sovranità della contea. I Signori di Montauto disponevano del diritto di battere moneta. San Francesco vi sostò tre volte e nel 1203 donò il proprio saio al feudatario Alberto II Barbolani. Montedoglio. In origine si chiamava Montedoro forse dal colore bronzo del gabbro del poggio. Nel sec.XI apparteneva a Ranieri di Galbino. All’inizio del sec. successivo il rapporto tra il conte di Montedoglio e Galbino è confermato dai documenti del 1199 e del 1266; poi i rapporti di parentela con i Tarlati di Pietramala portarono il feudo sotto il controllo di Arezzo. I signori di Montedoglio dal 1384 passarono sotto la Signoria di Firenze. Estintasi la famiglia nel 1797, il castello fu riunito al Granducato di Toscana.Mignano. Edificato attorno al suo castello,conserva la struttura del “ castrum medievale “ con case, chiesa,torre,porte e mura. Sulle sue origini romane non esiste documentazione; possedimento dei conti di Galbino e Montedoglio, nell’XI sec. passò all’Abbazia di Dicciano di Caprese. Nel 1343 Piero Tarlati, condottiero di ventura e signore di Arezzo, prese possesso del castello. Attaccato dai fiorentini in guerra contro il Tarlati, fu devastato durante la guerra tra Fiorentini e i Visconti. Brancialino. ” Castrum” medievale risalente al XII sec. conserva ancora gran parte della cinta muraria con all’interno case, una chiesa e due porte. Nel 1383 il castello era dei Tarlati di Pietramala che lo posero sotto la protezione di Siena. Fu assediato dai Fiorentini e subì distruzioni durante la guerra tra Firenze e i Visconti (1428); poi fu devastato nel 1587 da Giulio Beccheria, cavaliere di Malta, per il governo Fiorentino. Castelnuovo. Delle strutture più antiche, non rimangono tracce a parte un contrafforte risalente al periodo tardo-medievale. Il castello apparteneva ai Tarlati di Pietramala, distrutto dai Perugini nel 1334 fu riconquistato dai Tarlati. Nel 1587 fu devastato da Giulio Beccheria di Lodi, cavaliere di Malta per il governo Fiorentino. In questi territori, dominati dai feudatari, viveva una moltitudine di servi della gleba, poveri e legati alla terra, venduti con essa e che dovevano inoltre fornire ai signori giornate lavorative e tributi in denaro e in natura. E’ proprio tra questa umile gente che abbiamo rappresentato, in un rudere di torre, la nascita di Gesù che ha scelto di vivere come il più povero dei poveri.
