SANSEPOLCRO – Ad arricchire la serie di appuntamenti di qualità di questo ponte natalizio al Borgo, l’evento messo in calendario per lunedi 2 gennaio in collaborazione con il Comune. Presso l’Auditorium di Santa Chiara, a partire dalle ore 21, il concerto di “Ensemble Vocale VisCantus”, già presentato nei giorni scorsi ad Arezzo e ora proposto a Sansepolcro.

L’Ensemble, diretto dal Maestro Silvia Vajente, con la partecipazione di Dimitri Betti all’organo, presenterà un significativo programma, volutamente dedicato a brani per la maggior parte opera di compositrici donne del XVII secolo. Pregevoli composizioni di polifonie tardo-rinascimentali e barocche, rimaste pressoché sconosciute fino ai giorni nostri in un panorama musicale sin lì segnato dall’egemonia di compositori maschili. Al padre ispiratore di tali polifonie, Claudio Monteverdi, è dedicata la seconda parte del concerto, con il “Magnificat Secondo” a quattro voci. Uno spettacolo di livello tutto da vedere ed ascoltare, che renderà ancora più preziose le festività di Sansepolcro.
