Arezzo. La senatrice Simona Petrucci in visita all’impianto di recupero integrale di San Zeno “Un impianto che in pochi anni passa da fornire energia da 20 a 50 mila persone è un grande impianto strategico, perché riesce a fornire a tutta questa zona l’energia che serve.
E’ un esempio non solo a livello toscano ma nazionale. Inoltre ringrazio la comunità aretina perché questa eccellenza è più volte venuta in soccorso del territorio di Grosseto nei momenti di difficoltà della sua impiantistica nel rispetto del principio di reciprocità”. Lo ha detto la senatrice Simona Petrucci in visita questa mattina all’impianto di recupero integrale di San Zeno, accompagnata dal consigliere regionale Gabriele Veneri. Ad accoglierli per conoscere tutte le fasi del trattamento integrale dei rifiuti e del recupero energetico, c’erano il sindaco di Arezzo Alessandro Ghinelli, il presidente di Aisa Impianti s.p.a Giacomo Cherici e il direttore generale Marzio Lasagni. Durante la vista si è discusso del percorso di eccellenza intrapreso dal polo tecnologico di San Zeno e della necessità di continuare sulla strada della sensibilizzazione: “Ancora i cittadini non hanno ben capito che il rifiuto non è da buttare via ma è una risorsa, in questo campo dobbiamo lavorare tanto, non solo a livello nazionale ma livello regionale e comunale” – ha detto la senatrice. I comuni, in particolare, sono importantissimi perché hanno il potere di far capire cosa vuol dire fare quel piccolo gesto, la raccolta differenziata, un passo avanti per tutti e un vantaggio per le future generazioni”. La senatrice ha affrontato anche il tema delle azioni da intraprendere sul piano normativo nazionale: “C’è da rivedere completamente una norma, il Testo Unico Ambientale, il decreto legislativo successivo, il 116/2020 e c’è da rivedere il concetto di rifiuto. Ci sono grandi passi da fare facendosi aiutare dalle amministrazioni locali perché solo grazie al loro contributo riusciremo ad apportare modiche non solo teoriche”.“Noi siamo inquadrati in un sistema per il quale la prima delega che troviamo sopra la nostra testa è quella regionale- ha detto il sindaco di Arezzo Alessandro Ghinelli. In Toscana c’è un problema di fondo che è quello della scarsa uniformità della presenza di impianti nel territorio. E’ noto che l’ATO Toscana Centro è in difetto impiantistico. Questo vuol dire che dobbiamo guardare a impianti come il nostro che lavora per il comprensorio aretino e anche in soccorso di altre realtà della Toscana sud, come prevede il principio di reciprocità. Questo chiedo alla Regione: attuare la politica europea che promuove la realizzazione di impianti come quello di San Zeno”. “Siamo in un momento storico in cui tutti i cittadini hanno toccato con mano cosa significa essere in carenza di energia, quindi con prezzi impazziti, talvolta quintuplicati – ha detto il presidente di Aisa Impianti s.p.a. Giacomo Cherici. Impianti come questi che recuperano dalla città scarti come se fosse una miniera urbana e possono produrre energia, sono e faranno la differenza sotto il profilo energetico fra il mondo passato e il prossimo futuro. Qui si stratta semplicemente di comprendere quanto il processo di termovalorizzazione e di produzione di biometano possa generare sul posto tutta una serie di energie che altrimenti andrebbero comprate all’estero, senza mai dimenticare l’aspetto sociale delle ricadute e l’aspetto occupazionale”.
