L’artista Giuliano Giuman, ospite dell’ultima edizione della nostra Biennale dedicata al Vetro nell’Arte Contemporanea, lo scorso autunno ha dialogato attraverso le proprie opere con gli affreschi del Signorelli all’interno dell’Oratorio di San Crescentino di Morra, la maggior parte delle quali in vetro, uno dei suoi medium preferiti.
Alla mostra sono seguiti dei laboratori con gli alunni della scuola primaria dove l’invito insito nel titolo ”Guarda dove metti i piedi voleva essere da una parte un richiamo immediato al fare attenzione a dove si mettono i piedi muovendosi tra oggetti preziosi e fragili e da un’altra un’esortazione all’essere consapevole , a meditare il passo giusto, quello più opportuno ed efficace per il proprio cammino esistenziale”( Lorenzo Fiorucci).
La vicinanza con l’artista e l’interesse delle insegnanti porta a Sansepolcro gli alunni della scuola primaria per una nuova esperienza didattica all’interno dello Spazio Bernardini Fatti: questa volta “Guarda dove metti le mani”.
La visita al museo rappresenta un ottimo strumento nella didattica scolastica per approfondire lo studio di alcune materie e consentire agli studenti di vivere un’esperienza più diretta in relazione ad argomenti molto spesso lontani dall’esperienza quotidiana, coinvolgere gli studenti, stimolarli e se possibile emozionarli
Questa volta “Guarda dove metti le mani” perché i ragazzi sono invitati a mettere le mani in pasta come facevano gli antichi maestri del vetro, ad entrare in relazione con le opere esposte e, attingendo ai molti tasselli di vetro colorato, sperimentare le tecniche per realizzare, grazie alla creatività e fantasia che gli sono proprie, delle piccole opere contemporanee in vetrofusione: opere in vetro di Murano cotte a 800°. per creare dei piccoli manufatti in vetrofusione dando libero sfogo a tutta la loro creatività e fantasia.
