Sabato 21 gennaio 2023 Biblioteca “Carducci” di Città di Castello con la partecipazione dell’assessore alla Cultura del Comune di Città di Castello Michela Botteghi, sono state presentate le raccolte poetiche di Antonella Radicchi (Non siamo di passaggio) e Veris Valentini, Lo scoglio giusto).
In una sala gremita di pubblico, l’assessore Botteghi ha sottolineato l’importanza “di far vivere con continuità spazi come la Sala della Biblioteca recentemente intitolata al prof. Paolo Rossi Monti, con iniziative di qualità come quelle proposte da Antonio Vella”, responsabile editoriale della casa editrice tifernate Luoghinteriori. “Lavoriamo da anni con passione e determinazione nella promozione della poesia” ha proseguito Vella nel suo intervento “perché crediamo profondamente che ascoltare la voce dei poeti è come seguire una scia di un percorso che può farci vivere meglio il nostro presente e al tempo stesso fornirci le chiavi per preparare responsabilmente il futuro per noi e per le generazioni che verranno. Da questa convinzione nasce il forte impegno anche nel coinvolgere gli studenti nelle attività di lettura e scrittura, affinché siano testimoni consapevoli del proprio tempo e attori loro stessi nel costruire un futuro migliore”. Le coinvolgenti letture di Silvia Bardascini hanno reso ancora più coinvolgente il pomeriggio letterario che di fatto ha inaugurato le attività culturali dell’edizione 2023 del Premio Letterario Città di Castello.
