“Nella Sala Rosa del Comune di Arezzo stiamo condividendo i risultati del progetto “Care Leavers’, una sperimentazione nazionale biennale che ha messo al centro giovani dai 17 ai 21 anni coinvolti in percorsi di autonomia. Si tratta di giovani che hanno un trascorso di vita complesso ma che, grazie al loro impegno e al nostro supporto, si sono messi in cammino ottenendo risultati importanti.
Il grazie più grande va a loro che hanno dimostrato come il disagio e le difficoltà vissute non sono mai una scusa ma possono essere una occasione di riscatto, e a tutto il gruppo di lavoro che ha coordinato questo percorso: il Comune, la Asl, il Ministero, l’InformaGiovani, l’Istituto degli Innocenti, l’Ufficio scolastico provinciale, il Centro per l’impiego, le associazioni, le cooperative, gli assistenti sociali. Ringrazio anche l’assessore Monica Manneschi e l’assessore Federico Scapecchi: questa è una rete territoriale, che fa riferimento alle politiche sociali, giovanili e politiche abitative, che si pone come elemento di raccordo forte capace di mettersi in gioco, e che scommette sulle nuove generazioni che non sono sole ma parte di progetti condivisi. Arezzo è Città di opportunità e diritti peccato che solo l’opposizione non se ne accorga”.
