FIRENZE – NUMERI IN CRESCITA E SEI NUOVE MOSTRE PER IL PROGETTO DI “DIFFUSIONE DELL’ARTE” DI GALLERIE E FONDAZIONE CR FIRENZE Montespertoli, Anghiari, Scarperia e San Piero, e San Giovanni Valdarno erano già stati coinvolti nelle precedenti edizioni e si confermano anche quest’anno; è invece la prima volta per Montelupo e Grosseto
Quattro conferme e due nuovi territori coinvolti, tra i quali Grosseto, prima assoluta nella Maremma. Sono sei le mostre che si terranno, nel corso del 2023, all’interno della terza edizione di Terre degli Uffizi, progetto per la valorizzazione del patrimonio artistico della Toscana promosso da Gallerie degli Uffizi e Fondazione CR Firenze, all’interno dei rispettivi programmi Uffizi Diffusi e Piccoli Grandi Musei. Un nuovo piano espositivo che promuove il legame del territorio con le sue ricchezze artistiche. È stato presentato questa mattina da Luigi Salvadori, Presidente della Fondazione CR Firenze, da Eike Schmidt, direttore delle Gallerie degli Uffizi e dai rappresentanti dei rappresentanti dei territori coinvolti. Le mostre si terranno a Montelupo, Montespertoli, Scarperia e San Piero, Anghiari, Grosseto e San Giovanni Valdarno. Terre degli Uffizi continua a centrare il suo obiettivo: dislocare da Firenze i flussi turistici e incrementare i visitatori di vicinanza, grazie al coinvolgimento con i musei periferici già presenti nel territorio e con i Comuni. I dati confermano, infatti, un aumento medio dei visitatori del 37% rispetto agli stessi periodi dell’anno precedenti l’avvio del progetto (nel primo anno di esposizioni la percentuale era +18%), con un totale di visitatori di 61.042 nelle otto mostre e 216 mila euro di incassi per i musei che erano a pagamento. I questionari (oltre tremila analizzati) sottoposti ai visitatori raccontano che il 79% visitava il museo per la prima volta e il 47% dichiara di averlo visitato appositamente per la mostra. Il programma espositivo del 2023 parte con la mostra “La ceramica di Montelupo e gli Uffizi: una “galleria” di confronti”, che si terrà dal 1 aprile al 1 ottobre al Museo della Ceramica di Montelupo.Segue la mostra di Montespertoli, al Museo Diocesano d’Arte Sacra di San Pietro in Mercato, dal 22 aprile al 29 ottobre, che è la terza esposizione all’interno di Terre degli Uffizi e che quest’anno è dedicata a Filippo Lippi e intitolata “Filippo Lippi in Valdelsa”. Altra conferma del progetto è il Comune di Scarperia e San Piero, in particolare il Palazzo dei Vicari – Museo dei Terri Taglianti, che dal 12 maggio al 5 novembre ospiterà “I Medici, gente del Mugello. Ritratti di famiglia dalle Gallerie degli Uffizi”. Per Anghiari sarà il terzo ritorno dopo la partecipazione all’edizione del 2021 e del 2022. Dal 27 maggio al 17 settembre, sempre al Museo della Battaglia e di Anghiari, si terrà “Intellettuali in battaglia. Fama e oblio di due letterati dalla Battaglia di Anghiari all’assedio di Famagosta”. Terre degli Uffizi sbarca per la prima volta nel grossetano, proprio a Grosseto, con “I favolosi anni ’60’ in Maremma. Nel segno di Ico Parisi”, al Polo culturale della Clarisse, dal 17 giugno al 3 settembre. Infine, San Giovanni Valdarno ospita una mostra di lungo respiro dedicata a Giovanni da San Giovanni, che si terrà al Museo delle Terre Nuove dal 30 settembre al 6 gennaio 2025, intitolata “«Bizzarro e capriccioso umore». Giovanni da San Giovanni, pittore senza regola alla corte medicea”. Il presidente di Fondazione CR Firenze Luigi Salvadori: “Siamo molto soddisfatti di questo progetto che dimostra, nei fatti, la sua validità. Le mostre hanno contribuito ad aumentate sensibilmente la conoscenza e l’affluenza ai luoghi in cui sono state allestite e gran parte del pubblico le ha visitate perché richiamati dal valore della proposta culturale. Abbiamo dunque pienamente raggiunto i principali obbiettivi di questa operazione che, fin dalla sua origine, aveva lo scopo di decongestionare i grandi flussi turistici e far scoprire mete e luoghi meno conosciuti ma non per questo meno ricchi di bellezza e di arte. Intendiamo sostenere quel modello di ‘turismo esperienziale’ che sta crescendo notevolmente in questo anno di post-pandemia e che, secondo i più qualificati osservatori del settore, è destinato ad aumentare del 57% entro il 2030’’. Il direttore delle Gallerie degli Uffizi Eike Schmidt: “Questa iniziativa, iniziata subito dopo il lockdown, sta avendo un impatto inaspettato. Altre ne stanno nascendo di natura simile in Italia, e anche all’estero alcuni direttori di musei, tecnici, e addirittura amministratori di città oggetto come Firenze di un turismo d’assalto, si interessano al nostro modello per poterlo riproporre. Dopo tre anni, posso solo affermare che un progetto avvertito all’inizio con timore protezionistico, giudicato da alcuni come una spoliazione, ha invece arricchito il territorio e gli stessi Uffizi, le cui opere sono messe in una nuova luce e accolte con entusiasmo. Sono grato a Luigi Salvadori per aver subito compreso il potenziale educativo e culturale della ‘diffusione’ degli Uffizi, appoggiandola e contribuendo sostanzialmente, con la Fondazione CR Firenze, al suo successo”.
Nel 2022 +37% visitatori nei luoghi espositivi di Terre rispetto agli stessi periodi dell’anno precedenti l’avvio del programma, per un totale di 61.042 presenze nelle otto mostre
