Presto nella rete dei luoghi della cultura anche il Ridotto degli Illuminati”. 23 artisti in mostra nel 2022, sei mostre, di cui una collettiva, già svolte e altre 11 in programmazione fino alla fine dell’anno, prenotazioni già aperte anche per il 2024: è questo il bilancio ad un anno circa dalla riapertura delle Sale del Podestà di Città di Castello.
“Con la ripresa delle attività in presenza, le sale del Podestà sono tornate ad essere un punto di riferimento per tutto il movimento delle arti visuali di Città di Castello” dichiarano il sindaco Luca Secondi e l’assessore tifernate alla Cultura Michela Botteghi, in occasione dell’allestimento della personale “Realease Art”di Walter Ceccarelli, che si terrà da sabato 17 marzo, quando nel pomeriggio è previsto il vernissage, al 4 aprile 2023, su iniziativa di Luoghi Interiori, promotore del Premio letterario nazionale Città di Castello. “Nei giorni scorsi, a cura dell’Ufficio Cultura, del volontario del Servizio Civile e del personale dei Progetti utili alla Collettività, si è proceduto ad una manutenzione degli interni, necessaria dopo un utilizzo così intenso e continuativo. Ora siamo pronti per ripartire e ospitare le mostre che in successione sono state calendarizzate. In questo caso l’offerta ha fatto emergere una domanda che già esisteva e che aspettava di avere attenzione da parte dell’ente pubblico. Grazie agli spazi messi a disposizione tanti artisti hanno avuto nelle sale del Podestà uno spazio gratuito e centrale per esporre le loro opere. La disponibilità di luoghi della cultura all’oggi può contare anche sulla Rotonda medievale, sulla manica lunga e sulle sale dell’ala nuova della Pinacoteca comunale. Le tante richieste sono per l’Amministrazione un obiettivo raggiunto, specialmente dopo i due anni di stop dovuti all’emergenza sanitaria. Per questo grazie alla collaborazione del gestore del Teatro degli Illuminati, Sogepu, che ha condiviso e sostenuto fattivamente il progetto di ampliamento degli spazi, presto sarà possibile allargare la rete anche al Ridotto degli Illuminati, un luogo bello, suggestivo e polivalente che merita di essere visitato e di diventare un altro hotspot delle politiche culturali cittadine”.
