Fusignano (RA), Auditorium Corelli, ore 21:00 L’edizione 2023 di Crossroads fa nuovamente tappa a Fusignano (RA): giovedì 6 aprile all’Auditorium Corelli andrà in scena “Dancing Swing Party” (inizio alle ore 21). A riesumare i fasti del jazz ‘danzante’ della swing era sarà il clarinettista Nico Gori, sotto la cui direzione suonerà lo Swing 10et, con Michela Lombardi (voce), Tommaso Iacoviello (tromba), Silvio Bernardi (trombone), Renzo Cristiano Telloli (sax alto), Francesco Felici (sax tenore), Mattia Donati (chitarra, voce), Federico Frassi (pianoforte), Matteo Anelli (contrabbasso), Vladimiro Carboni (batteria) e Iacopo Crudeli (presentatore, voce). Crossroads 2023 è organizzato da Jazz Network in collaborazione con l’Assessorato alla Cultura della Regione Emilia-Romagna e con il sostegno del Ministero della Cultura e di numerose altre istituzioni.
Il festival vanta il patrocinio di ANCI Emilia-Romagna e di SIAE. Il concerto è realizzato in collaborazione con l’Assessorato alla Cultura del Comune di Fusignano. Biglietti: prezzo intero euro 15; ridotto 13. Nico Gori, fiorentino classe 1975, ha collaborato con musicisti jazz di grande fama, quali Fred Hersch, Lee Konitz, Enrico Rava, Antonello Salis, Gianluca Petrella, Roberto Gatto, ma anche con cantanti pop quali Anna Oxa, Fabio Concato, Gino Paoli e i Dirotta su Cuba. Nella sua carriera Gori ha frequentato la musica classica, il funk e l’acid jazz, ma è sicuramente nell’ambito jazzistico che ha saputo meglio distinguersi come solista. Lo attestano le collaborazioni con Stefano Bollani (nei gruppi Carioca e I Visionari oltre che in varie registrazioni discografiche), Tom Harrell e la Vienna Art Orchestra.Con il suo Swing 10tet, Gori celebra i fasti dello swing e del jazz da ballo, con Benny Goodman e Count Basie come punti di riferimento. Il repertorio è infatti quello delle big band tra anni Trenta e Quaranta, con l’aggiunta anche di brani originali. Con un organico leggermente snellito rispetto a una big band al completo, Gori riesce comunque a ricreare il sound di un’epoca, facendone rivivere il travolgente legame tra musica, ballo e senso dello spettacolo.
