DOZZA BOLOGNA – XXIV Edizione 3 marzo – 27 luglio 2023 Concerto di sabato 15 aprile Dozza (BO), Teatro Comunale, ore 21:00 Il festival itinerante Crossroads arriverà al Teatro Comunale di Dozza (BO) per il weekend del 15-16 aprile. Per la prima delle due serate, sabato 15 alle ore 21, si esibiranno i Guano Padano: un trio dalle oniriche sonorità western rock, con Alessandro “Asso” Stefana alle chitarre, Danilo Gallo al basso elettrico e Zeno De Rossi alla batteria
Crossroads 2023 è organizzato da Jazz Network in collaborazione con l’Assessorato alla Cultura della Regione Emilia-Romagna e con il sostegno del Ministero della Cultura e di numerose altre istituzioni. Il festival vanta il patrocinio di ANCI Emilia-Romagna e di SIAE. Il concerto è realizzato in collaborazione con l’Assessorato alla Cultura del Comune di Dozza. Biglietti: prezzo intero euro 15; ridotto 13. Ma è una rock band o un trio jazz? E quel nome ‘ruspante’ sarà troppo trasgressivo o non abbastanza per la musica ideata dai tre immaginifici artisti? Non fatevi troppe domande e ascoltate (facendo attenzione agli effetti lisergici). Ricchi delle loro variegate esperienze, tra jazz, rock e musica d’autore, Alessandro “Asso” Stefana, Danilo Gallo e Zeno De Rossi nel 2008 hanno imboccato una stradina della campagna padana che improvvisamente è sbucata… nelle vaste lande del west statunitense, con una traslazione estetica e geografica degna delle ‘meraviglie’ di un Lewis Carroll. E infatti i Guano Padano mandano in cortocircuito la logica comune: vintage e avanguardia diventano tutt’uno, folk e punk sono come i due lati dello stesso 45 giri. Se ne sono accorti musicisti come Mike Patton, Marc Ribot, Bill Frisell, Chris Speed, i Calexico, Mark Orton e Vinicio Capossela, tutti rimasti coinvolti in collaborazioni con il trio. Quattro gli album pubblicati sin qui, dall’esordio del 2009 (Guano Padano) al più recente Back and Forth (2021).
