Anno di fondazione 1973,nato da un gruppo di amici e dal loro amore verso la bicicletta, tra i fondatori ricordiamo anche il comm. Gasperini che finalizzò il nome del gruppo legandolo all’AVIS donatori di sangue,principali attività del periodo….partecipazione ai campionati regionali UISP con diverse vittorie del trofeo regionale…..da allora basati principalmente a livello cicloturistico con calendario di raduni in tutta la regione e punteggi su partecipanti di ogni squadra per la distanza di provenienza
Da ricordare nel 1980 la trasferta a tappe in Francia a Nizza di un nutrito gruppo di iscritti con accoglienza celebrata dalle autorità locali. Quindi successivamente con alternanza alla presidenza di vari personaggi ed iscritti(ricordiamo,Bricca,Serpolini,Bacchi, Pincardini ed altri) sempre presenti nel territorio e con lo stesso unico marchio dell’AVIS donatori sangue . Tra alti e bassi nel percorso sociale e sportivo arriviamo all’anno 1998 con l’avvento alla presidenza di Dalio Benedetti e con un ampio rinnovo generazionale ed un nuovo slancio si riorganizzano le fila con uno spirito più adeguato alle richieste degli iscritti ed alle esigenze del momento, quindi si organizzano trasferte in giro per l’Italia durante il periodo della corsa Rosa, manifestazioni sociali nel territorio in collaborazione con L’AVIS donatori ,e si susseguono le partecipazioni a raduni anche fuori dalla regione con buoni successi. Un programma annuale molto denso e frequentato da amici di varie età ma con lo scopo unico del divertimento a due ruote, naturalmente ogni anno culmina con feste di vario tipo per stare insieme Veglioni e cene son quanto di meglio riusciamo ad esprimere, è nel nostro DNA. Stessa linea mantenuta da Otello Capacci e Ivano Granci nel dopo Benedetti con ampliamento anche di iscritti e di attività, anche con il successivo arrivo alla presidenza di Antonio Brizi il meccanismo ormai ben rodato funziona bene il numero di iscritti sale ancora e gli impegni si susseguono su calendari abbastanza pieni ,ma distensivi e soprattutto allegri il top lo raggiungiamo nella seconda trasferta a tappe del gruppo in Francia,una settimana davvero speciale in amicizia e stare insieme per lo scopo puro di divertirsi accolti dalla comunità italiana a Nizza e festeggiando insieme il raggiungimento dello scopo, entusiasmo che perdura ancora oggi con nuova linfa e nuove idee per il futuro. Ad oggi siamo circa 90 iscritti(tra i quali 5 donne) ed il consiglio direttivo è così composto: Presidente Antonio Brizi….Vice presidente Gabrio Selvaggi….Segretario Marco Tognelli ed il consiglio si completa con..Sergio Stocchi, Giuliano Pazzaglia, Innocente Martegani, Sandro Testamigna , Marco Battocchi e Andrea Rossi..(citazione particolare). Tra le attività del 2022 ricordiamo uscita con pranzo ad Acquapartita(PS)…gita al mare a Marotta naturalmente con pranzo…i vari giri fritturina verso la costa adriatica,le escursioni sulle montagne appeniniche di Pantani e Scarponi la montagna ad Alleghe 4 giorni per il giro d’Italia con escursioni varie sui passi dolomitici del luogo, …giro del lago Trasimeno e pranzo da Faliero….ed altre interne sempre con lo scopo di ritrovarsi pedalare e stare insieme. In esposizione il nuovo calendario 2023 con tutte le manifestazioni a cui partecipiamo e che organizziamo con impegno e serietà.
