CITTA’ DI CASTELLO – Prendendo spunto dall’articolo apparso sulla pagina locale del quotidiano “La Nazione” di venerdì 14 aprile u.s. in cui si parla di turismo e di accoglienza nella nostra città, il consigliere del Gruppo Misto – Azione, Luciana Bassini, presenterà nel prossimo consiglio comunale di Città di Castello un’interpellanza su questo tema.
Pone l’attenzione non solo sullo stato attuale del turismo, ma anche su quello che potrebbe essere, viste le bellezze storiche, culturali e paesaggistiche che vanta il nostro territorio. Fa riferimento ai dati positivi circa l’affluenza durante le festività pasquali presso i nostri centri museali ed in particolare presso il museo Burri che ha registrato circa 900 presenze. Accanto a questo però viene sottolineato come ci siano carenze riguardanti l’accoglienza per la mancanza di un’adeguata rete di servizi riguardanti la ristorazione, punti di informazione, servizi igienici pubblici ed in generale tutti i bisogni connessi al turismo. Su questo fronte, come ognuno di noi che si sia trovato in città in questi giorni di festa ha potuto toccare con mano, ci sono delle gravi carenze. Si ha l’impressione di una città deserta e morta. I turisti una volta usciti dai palazzi museali si guardano intorno smarriti non avendo punti di riferimento se non qualche passante che li indirizza da una parte all’altra per mangiare o prendere un caffè. Il grado di civiltà di una comunità si misura anche dal numero e dalla qualità dei servizi che mette a disposizione della collettività. Sotto questo punto di vista, la città segna purtroppo un continuo arretramento. Con l’avvicinarsi del periodo estivo, durante il quale la presenza turistica segue un naturale incremento, i problemi evidenziati si acuiscono e diventano spesso motivo di grave malcontento e discussioni da parte di tutti. Sottolinea che tale situazione meriti una seria e celere risposta da parte delle autorità comunali.
Questo quanto denuncia Luciana Bassini, che ha a cuore il futuro culturale ed attrattivo della sua città come tante altre persone che in questo periodo hanno riscontrato tali criticità e vorrebbero che Città di Castello sia percorsa da nuovi impulsi per meritare un posto centrale nel panorama delle città italiane e della cultura internazionale. La consigliera conclude la sua interrogazione chiedendo al Sindaco e alla Giunta di conoscere se e quali azioni siano state intraprese per risolvere la problematica dell’accoglienza turistica non più rimandabile.

Hmm it appears like your site ate my first comment (it was super long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I had written and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog.
