Un fantastico ritorno agli Anni ’80, attraverso i miti, i simboli, le mode, i costumi che hanno reso questo decennio tra i più esuberanti del secolo scorso, e che sta conoscendo un rinnovato interesse per la cultura che ha creato e rappresentato, è racchiuso nella mostra e nella serie di eventi che costituiscono la grande kermesse che la Città di Seravezza e la Fondazione Terre Medicee presentano a Palazzo Mediceo, nata da un’idea di Davide Monaco e a cura di Francesco Ristori
Oggetti straordinari, come l’esemplare unico della DeLorean, la macchina del tempo di Ritorno al futuro, il cubo di Rubik – qui in dimensioni gigantesche -, uno dei 20 esemplari della poltrona PROUST dipinta da Mendini; il pallone originale firmato da tutti i calciatori del mondiale di calcio 1982; la maglia e la pettorina di Pietro Mennea; le scarpette e la maglietta di Giuseppe Saronni; i miti “nostrani” come Uan, Four e Five i pupazzi animati della TV, il Commodore 64, il Primo Walkman Sony, il cabinato originale da bar di Pac-Man; una serie di vinili disegnati da artisti quali Andy Warhol, Keith Haring e una serie ampia e infinita di opere, oggetti, cimeli che hanno caratterizzato questo fecondissimo decennio. Si uniscono alla grande kermesse espositiva una serie di talk e spettacoli dedicati agli ’80, in particolare il 14 luglio il grande Concerto RITORNO agli ’80 che vede protagonisti sul palco:i Gemelli di Guidonia, Marco Ferradini, Fiordaliso, Franco Fasano, Viola Valentino, Ivan Cattaneo, Sandy Marton, Ivana Spagna.
