Partiamo dall’immaginario collettivo per parlare con Shakespeare. Certo, non sarà il vero, autentico, originario William Shakespeare, ma se riusciamo a incontrare anche uno solo dei possibili Shakespeare, forse l’esperimento potrà dirsi riuscito. Shakespearology è un one-man-show, una biografia, un catalogo di materiali shakespeariani più o meno pop, un pezzo teatrale ibrido che dà voce al Bardo in persona e cerca di rovesciare i ruoli abituali: dopo secoli passati a interrogare la sua vita e le sue opere, finalmente è lui che dice la sua, interrogando il pubblico del nostro tempo.
Due brevi note in chiusura di Stagione…
Una Stagione Teatrale di questi anni ‘20. Viene il Tempo dei bilanci, e lo facciamo con Woody “Shakespeare” Neri, e con la sua (e di Daniele Villa) geniale riscrittura del mito teatrale britannico e dei suoi immortali personaggi. Meglio di così, non si poteva chiudere. Da Bulgakov a Shakespeare, è stato un meraviglioso slalom, con passaggi in equilibrio sulla fune, commozioni celebri e tanta poesia. Ringraziamo “chi ci è stato” perché tanto tenace sostegno ci dà la spinta per andare avanti. Il Teatro di Anghiari è il luogo dei sinonimi e dei contrari, da sempre aperto a tutti i linguaggi. Siamo il vostro calendario di provincia, da sincronizzare a mano o da tenere a mente. Anghiari è da sempre il posto della memoria.
