PIU’ STRUMENTI E UOMINI PER LA SICUREZZA – “L’Amministrazione comunale ha già messo in campo importanti progetti e risorse per garantire maggiore sicurezza ai propri cittadini, ma servono più assunzioni di personale specializzato e l’implementazione di strumenti più efficaci, oltre che un maggiore impegno di tutte le forze dell’ordine per mettere in sicurezza alcune aree della città maggiormente a rischio” – interviene così Francesco Palazzini coordinatore comunale di Fdi Arezzo e Responsabile provinciale del dipartimento sicurezza in merito ai fatti di questa notte in Piazza della Repubblica
Il coordinamento comunale di Fdi Arezzo è da sempre impegnato sul tema della sicurezza urbana portando avanti idee e progetti che sono stati recepiti dal governo cittadino, pensiamo all’istituzione del Servizio Antidegrado che è già operativo, ma che necessita di essere potenziato, in tal senso l’Amministrazione comunale ha già in progetto di aumentarne la dotazione organica attraverso procedure di reclutamento dedicate a personale altamente specializzato; ci siamo battuti per l’introduzione dei Taser per gli agenti di polizia municipale e ci auguriamo possano entrare in servizio al più presto; è stato realizzato un vero e proprio piano per il potenziamento del sistema di videosorveglianza per il controllo del territorio per il quale abbiamo registrato un impegno del Comune sia in termini di manutenzione che di ampliamento della rete di telecamere; infine sta per vedere la luce il servizio di controllo della movida da parte della municipale, frutto di un accordo con la Prefettura di Arezzo per assicurare maggiori controlli nel fine settimana fino a tarda notte.
Accanto a queste misure chiediamo al governo della pubblica sicurezza e alla magistratura di impegnare maggiori energie per rendere vivibili e sicure alcune aree della città, come per esempio il “triangolo dello spaccio” che va dalla fermata dei bus, passando per la stazione fino al parco del Pionta, dove si ripetono episodi di risse e accoltellamenti tra bande che mettono in pericolo la pubblica incolumità e che non sono degni di una città come la nostra.
Auspichiamo che tutte le Istituzioni coinvolte nel sistema della sicurezza e dell’ordine pubblico della città si adoperino per un vero e proprio piano antidegrado, che restituisca vivibilità a certi spazi urbani da parte dei cittadini e crei le condizioni perché certi fenomeni non si ripetano, a questo proposito chiederemo a Prefetto e a Questore un incontro per comprendere le necessità operative e le risorse aggiuntive necessarie facendoci portatori delle richieste del territorio di Arezzo presso il Governo nazionale.
