AREZZO – “. La casa d’aste Guidoriccio organizza la prima asta on line dedicata agli artisti contemporanei attivi nel territorio aretino. Venerdì 9 giugno, dalle ore 16, la casa d’aste Guidoriccio di via Ferraris 128, ad Arezzo, ospita la presentazione di “Tracce. Presenze artistiche ad Arezzo dal secondo Novecento ad oggi”, asta pubblica on line dedicata all’arte contemporanea del territorio aretino.
Interverranno per l’occasione il critico d’arte Danilo Sensi, curatore dell’iniziativa, e Alice Ioffrida, capo dipartimento di arte moderna e contemporanea della casa d’aste. La presentazione darà la possibilità agli interessati di vedere dal vivo le opere, che rimarranno visibili dal lunedì al venerdì, dalle ore 9 alle 12 e dalle ore 15 alle 18. A tutti i presenti verrà offerto un brindisi. Dallo stesso giorno i lotti saranno messi on line. L’asta ufficiale si terrà mercoledì 21 giugno, alle ore 16, in diretta dal sito web www.asteguidoriccio.it. Per la partecipazione è richiesta la registrazione. Gli artisti sono: Abigaille (Grazia Rossi Forbicioni), Vittorio Angini, Marcello Oltrana Bianchi, Paolo Caponi, Andreina Giorgia Carpenito, Antonella Cedro, Fabrizio Cioci, Meri Ciuchi, Primo Conti, Tetsuji Endo, Andrea Facchini, Mario Gallorini, Maura Giussani, Enio Lisi, Silvio Loffredo, Carmelo Lombardo, Mino Maccari, Roberto Naccari, Mario Nibbi, Franco Onali, Dario Polvani, Maurizio Rapiti, Raffaele Rossi, Laura Serafini, Eliana Sevillano, Mario Tozzi, Abel Vallmitjana, Venturino Venturi, Franco Villoresi, Zenone (Emilio Giunchi).
UN’ASTA CHE CELEBRA LA STORIA RECENTE DI AREZZO
Arezzo, perla di origine etrusca, città di Piero Della Francesca e Giorgio Vasari, centro nevralgico per la produzione orafa, vide la sua rinascita artistica e culturale post-bellica sul finire degli anni Cinquanta, grazie all’organizzazione del “Premio Arezzo”, forse la manifestazione più importante a livello nazionale del suo genere. Il premio contribuì a portare in città i maggiori autori del secondo Novecento italiano e ad alimentare l’attività di pittori del territorio che costituirono un cenacolo con sede nella galleria “L’incontro” di Piazza San Francesco. Questo gruppo, alle cui iniziative parteciparono anche altri artisti come Venturi, Loffredo e Villoresi, e che guardava ad autori come Tozzi, Maccari e Conti, fu arricchito nel 1957 dall’arrivo di un celebre artista catalano, Abel Vallmitjana, che andò a vivere a Villa Guillichini di Tregozzano. In quella dimora, dove aveva inaugurato uno studio d’incisione, egli ospitava artisti, poeti e scrittori di fama mondiale come Pablo Neruda, Rafael Alberti e Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Era inoltre solito invitare a convivio il gruppo della galleria “L’incontro”. Questa presenza particolare, durata fino agli anni Settanta, contribuì ad allargare gli orizzonti culturali degli artisti di Arezzo, a dare loro entusiasmo, a creare una comunione di intenti che portò, grazie alla collaborazione con l’architetto Mercantini, alla realizzazione fra gli anni Sessanta e Settanta di opere per edifici pubblici e privati in città. Alla fine degli anni Ottanta, preceduta da sporadiche collaborazioni con alcune illuminate aziende, l’arte si fuse finalmente con la principale industria della città, la Unoaerre, attraverso il progetto “Oro d’autore”. Nel centro di Arezzo sorsero inoltre altre gallerie d’arte, che negli anni ospitarono artisti nazionali e internazionali, alimentando così un crescente collezionismo pubblico e privato, che veicolava cultura e conoscenza delle arti figurative. Questa tradizione, fatta di sperimentazione e di ricerca, non si è mai esaurita e continua nel territorio grazie ad artisti qualitativamente molto interessanti, ispirati ma non influenzati dagli sviluppi internazionali. Tracce” è un esperimento culturale che combina in asta i grandi maestri che frequentarono la città, alcuni degli artisti più significativi del secondo Novecento di Arezzo e una selezione di nuovi protagonisti. “Per la prima volta un’asta verrà dedicata interamente al territorio, alla sua storia culturale recente e ai suoi artisti – spiega l’ideatore Danilo Sensi. – L’iniziativa rappresenterà un unicum che combinerà promozione e scoperta delle eccellenze. Ringrazio per questo tutti gli artisti che hanno partecipato al progetto, la casa d’aste Guidoriccio per aver scommesso su Arezzo e i collezionisti privati che hanno messo a disposizione le opere”.
