Questo per la sua ammirazione e il legame che i suoi studi ebbero sempre con Luca Pacioli. “La città di Sansepolcro gli concede la cittadinanza onoraria” si legge nella pergamena che solennizzò all’epoca l’evento “per avere contribuito con la luce della mente e la forza del sapere a diffondere a livello internazionale la conoscenza dell’opera di Luca Pacioli con la traduzione nella lingua spagnola del ‘De Computis et Scripturis’ dalla Summa pacioliana e con ricerche e saggi scientifici apprezzati in tutto il Mondo”.
