Domenica 25 giugno a partire dalle ore 16:30, nel centro storico di Montepulciano, torna la sfida tra i piccoli spingitori del Bravìo delle Botti. Organizzata dalla contrada di Talosa, la gara tra le giovani generazioni di spingitori è ormai diventata un appuntamento importante per il mondo contradaiolo poliziano
Dopo la sfida tra le ‘Dame della Botte’, competizione organizzata dalla contrada di San Donato che ha riscosso un grande successo di pubblico e che ha visto trionfare le spingitrici della contrada di Talosa, nel prossimo fine settimana a scendere sul selciato di Piazza Grande di Montepulciano saranno i piccoli spingitori delle contrade del Bravìo delle Botti. Domenica 25 Giugno, a partire dalle ore 16:30, infatti torna uno degli appuntamenti più apprezzati dai giovani contradaioli e non solo: la sfida tra i giovani talenti del Bravìo delle Botti. La gara organizzata dalla contrada di Talosa, che vedrà sfidarsi due categorie di giovani spingitori, gli Allievi e i senior, ha l’obiettivo di formare le nuove generazioni di spingitori e dimostrare il senso di comunità della città poliziana. La gara tra i piccoli spingitori della botte, categoria Allievi, giunge quest’anno alla sua diciottesima edizione (e corrisponde al 14° Memorial Michele Lucci, l’atleta a cui è dedicata la manifestazione), mentre la gara tra gli spingitori di categoria Senior è alla sua quinta edizione. La sezione Allievi è aperta ai nati tra il 2009 e il 2012, mentre la sezione Senior è aperta ai nati tra il 2006 e il 2008.Nel 2022 la competizione ha visto trionfare in entrambe le categorie gli spingitori della contrada di Talosa. Il programma della giornata prevede la S. Messa nell’oratorio dei Cavalieri di Santo Stefano domenica 25 giugno alle ore 16:30, a cui seguirà il corteo storico con l’esibizione degli sbandieratori e dei tamburini della contrada di Talosa lungo le vie della contrada. Alle ore 18:00 inizieranno le gare a cronometro per gli Allievi che seguiranno il percorso di Palazzo Benincasa, Via Ricci, fino ad arrivare davanti al Palazzo Comunale. Mentre per i Senior le gare inizieranno alle ore 18:30 e il percorso sarà Porta di Collazzi, Via di Collazzi, Arco del Paolino, Via Ricci e Palazzo Comunale. In entrambe le categorie vincerà la contrada che ha fatto registrare il miglior tempo. Al termine delle gare, verranno effettuate le premiazioni dei vincitori e alle ore 19:00, la contrada di Talosa aprirà le proprie cucine e darà la possibilità di cenare a contradaioli e visitatori. I panni, che andranno alla contrada vincitrice, sia per la categoria Allievi e che per i Senior, sono stati dipinti entrambi da Sara Lucci, figlia di Michele Lucci.
