Così Francesca Mercati, assessore a cultura e turismo di Palazzo delle Laudi, sul tradizionale appuntamento messo a punto per il periodo più caldo dell’anno. “Un cartellone ricchissimo di appuntamenti” continua l’assessore “studiato per accontentare ogni esigenza e diversificare le proposte, costruendo un contenitore contrassegnato comunque sempre dalla qualità”.
Molteplice l’offerta che caratterizza la kermesse. Ci sono il teatro con Kilowatt Festival e Terre in Festival, la musica con Borgo Jazz e Berta Musicfestival con il clou rappresentato dal concerto della storica band italiana Pfm, le esposizioni di spessore come quella dell’artista Simon Berger che sino al 30 settembre sarà ospitata al Museo Civico, lo spazio per le tradizioni popolari con la Festa di San Rocco, lo sport con ciclismo, Borgo Sport e il torneo di basket al quale parteciperanno club della massima serie. E infine le tradizionali feste rinascimentali che sfoceranno il 10 settembre nell’antico Palio della Balestra con Gubbio in piazza Berta. E a corredo tante altre interessanti proposte in grado di rappresentare una Sansepolcro viva e dinamica anche in estate. “Colgo l’occasione per ringraziare sentitamente tutte le associazioni cittadine” conclude l’assessore Mercati “che hanno anche stavolta collaborato con l’amministrazione comunale tramite la loro passione e la loro creatività. Senza il loro prezioso supporto realizzare un programma così composito e di livello sarebbe impossibile. Da rimarcare anche che grazie ai contatti costruiti nel tempo, ci saranno appuntamenti e iniziative che coinvolgono realtà esterne al nostro territorio. Un segnale, questo, di quanto la proposta legata all’estate sia apprezzata pure fuori dalla Valtiberina”.
