La provincia di Arezzo si conferma sul podio più alto scalando ancora una posizione, al terzo posto dopo Milano e Roma per incidenza di ricchezza con il 7,9% e seconda per occupazione dopo Milano con l’8,7%. Un risultato eccellente che, come ha commentato il sindaco Alessandro Ghinelli, “oltre a riconoscere l’impegno importante profuso nelle attività culturali intese nella loro accezione più ampia, conferma l’opportunità di una scelta strategica e di programma che in maniera particolare ha caratterizzato la città di Arezzo, riconoscendo la cultura come settore significativo per la crescita e lo sviluppo del territorio. Negli ultimi anni si è assistito ad una crescita continua del nostro sistema produttivo culturale: alla luce di questo risultato, più che mai Arezzo deve continuare a percorrere questa strada e ad investire nelle straordinarie potenzialità del proprio patrimonio artistico e culturale e nelle proprie capacità creative”. Ma, come si evince dal Rapporto, è l’intero sistema produttivo culturale e creativo che torna ad avere un segno positivo. Complessivamente infatti in Italia dalle attività economiche che producono beni e servizi culturali derivano 52,7 miliardi e un numero di occupati pari a circa 852mila (rispettivamente +7,2% e +3,3% rispetto al 2021), mentre le attività “creative driven” – ovvero quelle che non producono beni o servizi strettamente culturali, ma che utilizzano la cultura come input per accrescere il valore simbolico dei prodotti – generano la ricchezza più elevata degli ultimi tre anni (42,8 miliardi di euro, +6,4% nell’ultimo anno) e danno lavoro a 639mila occupati (+2,5% rispetto al 2021). Il sistema culturale e creativo del 2022 vale quindi in totale 95,5 miliardi di euro, pari al 5,6% del valore aggiunto italiano, offre lavoro a quasi un milione e mezzo di persone (il 5,8% dell’occupazione) e attiva complessivamente 271,9 miliardi di euro. In tutto, una filiera all’interno della quale operano 275.318 imprese, +1,8% nel 2022 rispetto all’anno precedente. Ancora un dato: nella classifica delle regioni con una maggiore capacità di creare ricchezza, la Toscana si posiziona al sesto posto dopo Lazio, Lombardia, Piemonte, Friuli-Venezia Giulia e Veneto.
