, che faranno compagnia ai bambini in una serata nel segno dell’allegria e del divertimento, ma anche dello shopping, con i negozi aperti sotto le stelle. “Una bella serata per ridere e stare insieme, un ritorno davvero atteso che non poteva mancare nel cartellone di Estate in Città 2023, pensando alle tantissime famiglie con i bambini che l’anno scorso hanno invaso le piazze del centro storico e che aspettiamo ancora una volta per condividere sorprendenti incontri con i nuovi personaggi che parteciperanno alla sfilata”, afferma l’assessore al Commercio e al Turismo Letizia Guerri nel presentare l’iniziativa promossa dal Consorzio Pro Centro e dal Comune. “L’offerta di eventi estivi a Città di Castello non si ferma neanche ad agosto – sottolinea Guerri – e continuerà per tutto il mese con spettacoli, musica e appuntamenti con la tradizione, per dare tante opportunità di ritrovarsi in una città viva e accogliente ai tifernati che resteranno a casa e ai turisti in visita nel nostro territorio”. L’assessore ringrazia il Consorzio Pro Centro e tutti i commercianti del centro storico, insieme al personale dei Servizi Commercio e Turismo, “per la proficua collaborazione che ha permesso di dare vita a una nuova e interessante occasione di vivere il centro storico”. Nelle piazze e nelle vie principali i bambini potranno incontrare Topolino, Minnie e i personaggi di maggior successo del momento, da Super Mario Bros a Sonic, da Lady Bug all’Uomo Ragno, fino alla Principessa Elsa, che la compagnia Mascotte Party Umbria presenterà con costumi sfavillanti e colorati in un percorso itinerante tra i luoghi racchiusi dalle mura urbiche. I più piccoli potranno scherzare e ballare con i propri idoli, farsi prendere in braccio e scattare selfie, sotto gli occhi di genitori, nonni e amici. “Visto il successo dell’anno scorso – commenta il presidente del Consorzio Pro Centro Cristian Braganti – abbiamo pensato di riproporre una serata dedicata interamente alle famiglie con i bambini, che potranno divertirsi insieme e approfittare anche dell’offerta dei saldi estivi con uno shopping sereno e tranquillo nei nostri negozi, accompagnato dalla piacevole sensazione del fresco serale”. Per consentire lo svolgimento dell’iniziativa, il comando della Polizia Locale ha emesso un’ordinanza che dalle ore 21.00 fino alle ore 24.00 vieterà sosta e transito veicolare (con esclusione dei mezzi in urgenza ed emergenza) nelle vie e piazze del centro storico interessate dalla parata.
