In bici da Cerbara a Garavelle per trascorrere una giornata da ricordare al Centro delle Tradizioni Popolari. 75 bambini dell’Oratorio della Parrocchia di San Biagio di Cerbara “Oratorio per di qua”, in sella alle loro biciclette colorate si sono trasformati in veri e propri turisti alla scoperta di tante belle cose da vedere e da “toccare” e mangiare.
Hanno trascorso l’intera giornata visitando la mattina in maniera autonoma sia il Centro delle Tradizioni sia il rinnovato Polo Museale “Malakos” e nel pomeriggio hanno partecipato a tre laboratori di Poliedro: TERRE E COLORI (dipingere con terre e pigmenti antichi), L’ARGILLA (modellare con la’rgilla) E LA CIACCIA (la famosa e locale “ciaccia sul panaro” impastata e poi cotta sul grande focolare della cucina colonica). Tutti e tre i laboratori sono stati condotti dal personale della Cooperativa “Poliedro” che gestisce il centro e sono tre di quelli proposti a scuole, famiglie e centri estivi durante l’anno insieme a tanti altri laboratori come per esempio anche quello della realizzazione del sapone fatto secondo il metodo antico, della pasta fatta in casa e dei giochi dei nonni. “L’intento – precisano gli organizzatori – è sempre quello di far conoscere il museo attraverso esperienze didattiche che avvicinano i bambini e le persone alle tradizioni passate sempre in linea con lo spirito del museo. Ogni anno proponiamo queste esperienze e troviamo un forte riscontro da parte di scuole, centri estivi e di singole famiglie che dalle città sempre più frequentemente scelgono Garavelle per riscoprire la genuinità di un tempo passato. Insieme a Malakos cerchiamo di proporre gite in cui si vive il Polo un’intera giornata condividendo insieme anche momenti di convivialità e svago; si può scegliere di portare il pranzo al sacco oppure di ordinarlo perchè siamo in contatto con fornitori locali che possono consegnarlo. I musei sono immersi in un parco secolare e si prestano bene a questo tipo di esperienze”, hanno concluso le o Il Centro delle Tradizioni Popolari è aperto tutte le domeniche e in giornate particolari: per esempio oltre le domeniche sarà aperto al pubblico anche lunedì 14 e Martedì 15 Agosto mentre tutti gli altri giorni è possibile visitarlo su prenotazione
