“Dare risposte ludico ricreative integrate con le attività scolastiche fa parte delle progettualità che la Giunta Ghinelli ha messo al centro delle proprie scelte politiche fin dal 2015 ed oggi – grazie agli investimenti dell’Amministrazione comunale e alla collaborazione con le associazioni – Arezzo può dirsi città educante capace di dare risposte di comunità in piena alleanza tra le istituzioni ed il terzo settore. Così dopo la scelta di tenere aperti i servizi educativi nel mese di luglio, il successo della seconda edizione di TempoBello che ha dato risposte ad oltre 1800 famiglie con i progetti estivi e la imminente uscita del bando TempoPieno per progettualità legate al periodo invernale, torna ulteriormente rafforzato il servizio “Il Cedro: tutti a Scuola” parte del più ampio progetto di doposcuola diffuso costruito in collaborazione tra il Municipio e ICare con SemprePositivi.
Arezzo quindi si dissemina di “luoghi” di opportunità: dal Ciak al Cedro, dai progetti a Staggiano e Saione fino alla sperimentazione del Polo delle politiche familiari che sta prendendo sempre più forma in una linea ideale che unisce i servizi di Via Garibaldi e quelli di Via Masaccio.
Il progetto che si snoda all’ex nido Cedro è totalmente gratuito per le famiglie ed è curato da I Care e SemprePositivi – associazioni aderenti alla Fondazione Arezzo Comunità – in collaborazione con l’Istituto comprensivo IV Novembre. Quest’anno la proposta si arricchisce di molte iniziative e opportunità e va dai laboratori dedicati alla madri durante la mattina con particolare attenzione anche a percorsi di inserimento lavorativo, al recupero di competenze base – grazie all’accordo con il centro provinciale di educazione per adulti – per i genitori in situazione di fragilità culturale fino al doposcuola per bambini e ragazzi con l’obiettivo di accompagnarli nello studio alternando lezioni vere e proprie a momenti di socializzazione grazie anche ad esperienze laboratoriali, fino ad incontri formativi per le famiglie nel periodo serale compresi di cicli di incontro dopo cena.
Una proposta complessivamente ampia che va dal lunedì al venerdì in orari mattutini, pomeridiani e serali mettendo al centro le famiglie, i ragazzi, la scuola e le associazioni che da sempre operano per la Città e che aderendo alla Fondazione Arezzo Comunità hanno definito insieme al Comune percorsi di collaborazione costante all’interno di un progetto organico e condiviso che fa di Arezzo una città educante e coesa”.
